    Hi,
i posted mymobile R & r failure a couple of days ago, and as suggested I called Cs. No joy, So I called HO, and they told me to call the store back. I did and the guy called me back later saying that yes, they had overcharged me by not deducting the £20 at checkout, but as it was a glitch i wasn't entitiles to a full refund!
He went on to say he'd phoned Dundee and they confirmed this, and as I had been given a £20 note then I had 'accepted' their offer and I couldn't change it to a full refund and return now.
!!!!!!... anyone else ever experienced this?
I want to keep the phone for a present, but am cross at being overcharged and fobbed off with my £20.
There is no mark etc on reciept... shall i just take it back to store( another one?) for a full refund saying i bought the wrong phone??
    I paid in cash too.
    Advice would be great pls!!

I would take it back to another store for a full refund, at least then you are up by £20 if the receipt isnt marked. Then just try again in another store, up to you though!

  • Since Amishi  posted the above we have heard nothing from Clasics (Are you OK mate) and only a little from MyUserNamesTaken.

I can't answer for Clasics, but the reason behind me not posting much has nothing to do with Amishi. I haven't had anything useful to contribute, what with all the posts about shagging CSAs, and I haven't had time to go to Tesco.... :D

Photocopy your receipt first !!!. By all means take original receipt and phone back for a full refund. (if you decide to accept pluschris advice).

However it seems to me you have accepted the £20 offer from tesco "under protest" and you therefore still retained and are entitled under their promise clause,to your full refund as they are in breach of contract. I suggest you write to H/O quoting legal jargon ()check my other posts for details) and mention County Court Summons, and you should receive a pleasing result. It will cost Tesco over £500 to defend a court case, and you would win.:D

Somebody on here must know what store that is!

My guess is it would be good for R&Rs as they dont seem to give a toss about their jobs!

Laura has a web area that she offered us when the MSE threads were locked and it looked as though we'd be 'off the air' permanently. You have to be 'allowed in' so its a bit more secure than this area. Some people have suggested moving into that one to try to outwit Tesco Spies.
