white sel label for nokia 6111 & leaflet in my local I cant try it as I need to do my shopping there & my profile is fairly high already

I have seen a white sel in another store but no leaflets explaining which phones are included.

WARNING... The telephone offer for £20 off if you spend £40 they are now onto.

I have just had them have to call HO to authorise my transaction, when the girl phoned them she was told to manually deduct the £20 and given a code to enter for it.

no r&r so return in a day or so... oh well I tried.

I just posted the following comment on the misprice thread too.

The reason Tesco are so sh*t hot with pricing recently is thanks to our website threads here. We are doing all the hard work for them, trawling their stores for hours, wasting time and petrol and coming home with only a poxty pack of chicken legs on r&r. In the meantime, they are laughing all the way to the bank. Less r&rs, and more profit for Mr. T.

Surely it would be better to not bother posting misprices. We would still spend as much time in the stores, but would get more success as we wouldn't be blowing our trumpets on here and flagging up the price errors to the powers that be.

The main problem i think, is that most of us post to boast (myself included) We all love a bargain, and can't wait to shout it from the roof tops " Ner ner ne ner ner, I got a sony flat telly". Result? Tesco end up giving away 1 or 2 high value items (£800 telly) instead of dozens, that we would naturally have discovered for ourselves anyway.

We all know the policy now, and i think we should continue to discuss the policy on this thread, but avoid telling Mr T his misprices on the other thread, as it is blatantly doing none of us any favours.

What do you all think?

Had the same problem with the motorola razr, 20 didnt come off at the checkout, had to wait 30 mins at CS to get the handset as they had managed to lose the keys... when i finally got it i walked out the store and then "noticed" the overcharge... went back in was offered the £20 by the same CSA who gave me the phone, said but i have been over charged and whilst waiting for the phone ive seen your policy etc... then asked for the manager who said this wasnt an overcharge etc i stood my ground and made sure i didnt let him attempt to intimidate me he repeatedly tried to force the £20 into my hands but i said no i will be taking it up with head office, he got quite irate at this point and was beginning to lose his cool (turned out he was only duty manager) as i made a big show of letting everyone know that i had been overcharged and that he wasnt following store policy..

i have a copy of the £20 off with a £40 shop leaflet which clearly shows this handset as part of the offer... just have to wait for head office to re-open tomorrow (will gladly post a jpeg of the leaflet if anyone would like a look)

I'm very confident of getting an RNR on this.. what do the experts think?



Also noticed a possible overcharge on sharwoods oriental and indian sauces priced at 1.98 these do not trigger the offer cant remember details of if it was bogof or 2 for 2.xx , despite the sign clearly saying all "sharwoods oriental and indian sauces". I let this go as i spotted this on receipt whilst waiting for my phone.
