I actually think that's not a bad arguement, not sure if this is a gift or a bottle though.0 -

got the DM out, phoned HO while i was still in the store, HO ended up speaking to DM and backed her decision. got a refund and left, peed off.
I should have asked them to go out the back and check the boxes of the ones in storage, that would have helped but sometimes you only think of these things afterwards.
Anyway, doubley miffed about it because i had a very low profile in that store, and now all the CS and the DM might recognise me next time
Like I said, the box in front had the £18 bit ripped off of it (really proffessional looking) but the one behind didnt, I thought afterwards I should have had a closer look on the box, There surely must be something on there refering to what it contains, on the bottom of the box or something, or a barcode?
If I do see any more of these about (unlikely but you never know) I will be sure to have a look on the box.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

CS will almost definately say its a gift set and the 5% does not apply (I can almost hear them say it!)
But I very much doubt you will find any written evidence saying that it doesnt apply to bottles bought in gift sets.
Could be worth a try in a store you dont mind raising you profile in and if you cant find anything else! There are a few different sets with bottles in. Depends how brave you are I guess?Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -

That was an excellent idea.......its a pity you didnt take your own advice before the pages of "crap" around the OP were delivered.
I hope this is the end of the saga.Couponing....."every little hurts"
Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

Haven't been there recently, but reading your post, it sounds like the Witch8itch is still there.
(Edited: The 8 is a 'B', but this site puts a block on the female dog word).

Just going out to try my first R&R. Please tell me if I'm correct. Do I look out for yellow SEL's, do I then self scan to see if the price comes up more expensive.0

Just wondered if anyone else had any success in Lincoln as the staff seem to be on the ball.
I went to lincoln yesterday to try and get a mobile phone but whilst i was looking at the benq phone the SA came and took the discounted price off the display.......so i missed out.....i am still new to r+r as i have only had one phone so far.........keep trying though as you are bound to get lucky.......0 -
Why hasnt Tesco made the news??!!
I wondered why Tesco haven't (yet!) made the national news for Banning people from Stores and for the conduct (GROSS MIS!) of some of their CS advisors?
Anyone who's been banned, why haven't you taken it to the press?
I have a feeling it's only matter of time until someone does... Thoughts please...I see a new series of BBC WATCHDOG is about to start!?!?!?!0 -
