i haven't been out shopping today yet - has anyone tried the tins of biscuits etc that were on offer, due to expire on 14/11 ?
Hopefully they now scan higher and some shops will have left the old SELS out ?
Anyone come across any yet ?0 -
someone has just posted on the mis price thread about tins of choc on an out of date selThey've got cars big as bars
They've got rivers of gold

Told a new tactic by neighbour today. It is an alternative method , & often results in a hassle free R&R at C/S desk.
Make sure you have a shopping list, note prices as you put stuff in the trolley. After paying, leave store, check receipt against list, put mispriced articles in a bag & go back in. Check items against SELs, look dim/puzzled. Collar a shelf filler/tidier, and ask him/her to check for you (still looking dim/puzzled). They will confirm overcharge & take you to C/S, with SEL and tell CSA that you have been overcharged. No arguments with C/S as it's one of their 'own' telling them it's a misprice/overcharge.;)0 -
Anyone else noticed a new addition instore.
They have installed a pricing point actually within the shop. It is in one of the bays where they put trollies holding big items, cases of beer etc. It has a computer, printer and loads of different SELs, labels & POS posters etc, with a lock down shutter. Spied a staff member using it. With shutter down it's barely noticeable.0 -

Confirmed on Tesco.com that the offer is now 2 for £10. This is on the 1257g purple tin, not the gold tin.
Mmmm.... haven't had much luck with free chocolates yet.0 -

I went to RICOH @ Coventry yesterday. I noticed that on alot of the meat packs (where a yellow SEL offered a discount per kg) where the old price per KG was showing on the pack a yellow barcoded sticker had been placed on the pack with the new price per KG.
So for this store, it looks like this means it could be the end of the meat r&r's.
Same at Cross Point. Too many people looking now :rolleyes:Even if you are a minority of one, the truth is the truth.0 -
