So thats Swindon and Cirencester that are really hard stores to find misprices in.
Wasted journey IMO, however I did get more money off coupons allowed at Ciren.0 -
Constantine must be a mobile manager judging on the amount of stores he works in ..0

Mr T's may one day get more clued up and drop their policy ( I already suspect that they are going part way with scanners being removed in Leicester and Coventry) and that will be a sad day. But is it worth going hell for leather to the detriment of everyone else out there, whilst you suck the well dry? The whole point of this forum is to share thoughts and misprices. I'm sure people like the Duder could keep his misprices to himself and not share and go and rip Mr T's off all over the shop, but he doesn't. He's prepared to share and play the game fairly. How long before you get banned? Or more importantly how long before Tesco's get cynical about the whole situation as they get the same faces popping in day after day and just scrap it. I don't want R&R's to stop, but there is such a thing as overkill.
I'm no killjoy - I'm probably the youngest R&R-er out there - but my view is that we're all here to enjoy the ride whilst it lasts, not to kill it by bragging about how we're ripping Tesco's off. Duder advocates playing the low profile card - and I think it's the best way to go. You're flying in the face of that for my money and I think you should perhaps think why he's suggesting this.
My thoughts man - you decide how you want to go about it, but I'd like to keep my patch sweet and not have grief when I try the odd R&R as they percieve that people are coming in and R&R-ing them all the time.
When I see my name in lights I feel an urge to post
First - I can't see Tesco pulling the policy - I can see individual serial R&Rers who get 'caught' ** being given grief - but at the end of the day Tesco (except for Constantine and Spa2k of course) just cannot get its act together with their prices.
As for the Postman - my instinct is to comment 'each to their own' (now there's a surprise...).
But I will add that there have been Dudes here who have been gleefully posting their spoils - only to come back to this thread whinging when the rug has been pulled from under their feet when rumbled by the Tesco Stormtroppers....
If you push me - I do find boasting posts listing how many scores of the same game someone has accumulated a little tedious to read - but that's just me.
And of course it's nice to share - when I found the PSP last March I felt a cyber-shiver of pleasure at the thought of others getting such an item - I'm sure that like many others this is the sort of item outside of an average budget - so for me it was a splendid treat.
Duder
** And just to clarify I'm not intimating 'guilt' or trying to say that R&R is any way illegal - I'm simply referring to the serial R&Rer who has been identified as such either locally or nationally....0 -

Must say this R&R is getting addictive...had a dream last night that Mr T opened a metro as my corner shop!!.:rotfl:
Thanks all!!
Would LOVE to get this for a Xmas present, but my store DEFINITELY must check out this site.
When I go in to check all the latest mis-prices - fresh off the press as it were, and head down to Mr Ts, every single one has the sels missing !
Definitely NOT a coincidence. Whole aisle of wine has correct sels up, then I find the one I am looking for - no sel
Often 90% of games and cds have no stickers, but they also have none of the big posters, and they have NEVER had the champers and chocs in the mis-priced packaging, nor ANY of the chocolates that everyone has been posting for weeks. The small R&R's I do manage to get are ones not previously posted, which are not 'planned' purchases by me - just keeping an eye on the prices and my receipt
Been trying for the dvds and cds for weeks now without a sniff, only ones I have had are 'away from home'. May have to organise a trip to see some elderly relative, and offer to do their shopping for them as a favour ::rolleyes2
Now who lives nearest to a large Tesco
Never mind, they cannot keep it up for ever, and I have the patience of a saint :A0 -
How much is stormbreaker supposed to be as its deal of the week?
I went in there today and it said deal of the week but the only price was the SEL for £13.97 but on here people are saying it should be £12.97
I asked a sales assistent and she said thats the price £13.97(deal of the week price)
I tried to scan it but the scanner wouldnt work so can someone tell me what the price should be because im going to be annoyed if my store is charging a higher price than other stores because the only price was on the sel at £13.97 and how can you argue that it should be a lower price if there is no label saying it
Thanks if anyone can shed any light on this situation0 -

One of the DVD Posters is showing it as Offer of the Week with a price of £12.97, but SEL & scans at £13.97.
You need to find a store with the poster showing Stormbreaker for £12.97 to get an R&R.
Hope that helps.0 -

You need to look at the posters above the DVDs. There are 2 listing the latest chart positions and on the second poster is a picture of the Stormbreaker Dvd and a red star with £12.97 written on it. It's the poster which lists the second half of the Dvd chart.Divorce all finished- now to start saving for a better future!0
