Tesco misprice discussion area part 13

Given the recent problems with certain staff in Dundee, I'd suggest anyone with serious complaints / R+R claims should cut Dundee out of the loop altogether and take it straight to the Corporate & Legal Affairs Dept in Cheshunt.
The staff in Dundee are not legally trained and have a scant understanding of the legal issues at stake (For example, most of them are now saying that if a SEL has an expired date, they have done nothing wrong by overcharging, as it's the customer's responsibility to check the date on the SEL. Ridiculous statements like this just make a mockery of the whole Dundee operation.). There is little consistency in what staff at Dundee say, and they tend to adopt an "ad lib" approach to customer service, inventing all kinds of weird and wonderful new rules off the cuff. The honesty of certain senior staff at Dundee is also highly questionable, not to mention their delusions of grandeur, with a certain chap telling customers there is "nobody above him" in the company - not even Sir Tel!
So instead of playing the Dundee lottery, and giving them ammunition to carry out one of their vindictive witchhunts against you, I'd suggest you take up your case with the aforementioned Corporate & Legal Affairs dept:
Tesco Stores Limited
Corporate & Legal Affairs
New Tesco House
Delamare Road
Cheshunt
Herts EN8 9SL
Tel. 01992 632222
andrea.curtis@uk.tesco.com (I've dealt with her on several occasions and she seems to be competent and efficient)
If they try to palm you off onto Dundee, tell them it's an urgent legal matter which requires a response from their department as you are considering litigation. The staff in the C&LA dept are legally qualified, and generally far more competent and coherent than Dundee.0 -

How do you scan the DVDs on the price checkers when the DVD is in that annoyingly safe plastic security box which has never allowed me to price check a single one of them?!?
Or is it just only when someone has bought one intentionally and posted it on here would we know the price difference?0 -
Yes no what u mean Floflo,
could always try " is that your broomstick I just ran over ?"
if a regular store, " hey you look like you've lost weight, what kind of diet are u using ?"Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

So thats Swindon and Cirencester that are really hard stores to find misprices in.
Wasted journey IMO, however I did get more money off coupons allowed at Ciren.
I agree with your comments on Swindon & Cirencester, nothing to be found (non-food) last weekend, although I thinks its just me. I went to Stockton on Tees yesterday on my travels and brought Stormbreaker for £13.97 with no poster to be found:mad: . Off to Leicester to take it back!!0
