Monster_Deals wrote:I have some of the Asda Vouchers, both my local Tesco's have advised they don't take them (and have never taken them). So how are people using them in Tesco's ?
Does it vary by store, checkout girl ?
Believe they use the self scan tills.
Which vouchers are these then an what does the magazine look like as i picked up 4 magazines but couldnt find the vouchers!

I would say its down to the checkout operator.
I've had some who will take up to 50% of the bill and some who refuse any coupons unless its for something you have bought.
I always find it pays to be polite and smile and if they don't take it just pick a different operator next time0 -

'The information you provide in your email indicates that the items were
in the wrong place on the shelf and that the price did not relate to
that product.
The price charged for an item is recorded on the checkout system and
this is what requires to be charged.'
The comment here is a reply from an overcharge on champers and chocies set - sent to me via HO If you didn't know about R+R you'd just think oh well, so for that useless piece of HO info, I went back and got 2 x Xbox games and made sure I was served by the same lady as before - I'm sure she was chewing wasps when she gave me my refund!! (she only works mornings, so no raise in profile there :rotfl:)coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there(meaning under the buggy lol):D0 -
I don't know if this is of interest to any of you people out there? I have just had a call from my TS officer regarding the XBox and she has confirmed THERE WAS A DEFINATE MISPRICE ON THE XBOX/PES6 PROMOTION.! She has been into my local store today and spoke to all concerned and the Manager offered an apology to me (by way of the TS officer) and has offered to write a letter of apology also (which I have requested). She is also contacting HO to let them know of her actions and will direct it to MR KEVIN KELLY! I am waiting to hear now as to whether I can go and pick up my missing XBox bundle. I feel very vindicated now.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0

I just travelled to another Extra store to grab a few R+R's and there was nothing!
So thats Swindon and Cirencester that are really hard stores to find misprices in.
Wasted journey IMO, however I did get more money off coupons allowed at Ciren.:wall:Crazy Nutters Club Member 003 :wall:0 -

The head of security was also in my meeting and he kept on about how good his CCTV system is, not knowing I have a bit of experience with CCTV myself, I knew it was VERY unlikely that he would be able to pick out exactly what DVD I scanned and what I bought
I have seen a tesco CCTV system, and believe me they could defo tell what item you bought, they can zoom in so far that I know one perv used to zoom onto womens chest's etc and have a good oggle!! (yes sick I know!)
They have state of the art cameras in the store that I know well...and they could easily follow you round the store. (well in the store I know):wall:Crazy Nutters Club Member 003 :wall:0 -

Well, if the woman left her chest open to oggling then I'm not surprised! but I held my hand over the face of all the DVD cases and scanned them all quickly and chucked them back into basket, I called his bluff, there was no way he could definately tell that the item I bought was one that I had scanned.
To be double sure, you could even scan items, put them all back, then pick them back up a bit later!Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0
