Thing is, he doesn't know he's dealing with R&Rers. Each individual call is a Tesco customer, and should be treated as such. He doesn't know if any of those people complaining about the Xbox this time has ever used Tesco's policy before. It shouldn't make a difference either way, anyway, as no-one is doing anything wrong. It's Tesco's policy to give a full refund if you are overcharged. It doesn't state any terms or conditions on the policy, therefore covers ALL overcharges, be they intentional or otherwise. The level of CS you receive should not be affected by how many times you've availed yourself of Tesco's own policy. Everyone should be treated equally and with respect.

i think this has gone slightly over the top yes we all know tescos overcharge people yes they make millions but who else has got the best r+r policy out there. it's a massive orginization which carries thousands of products and there wil be errors. kevin and terry will all know well the people behind this the dedicated mse wombling crew on their r+r holidays
    give a little
    take a little.
i just hope they dont back track on their policy and don't do what asda do. there is no other supermaket i know of (apart from in america) that offer this special incentive to find misprices
it could be a big kick in the teeth
  • I had not recieved an reply from Sir Terry to my email I sent on Wednesday lunchtime so sent a polite reminder this lunchtime asking if they could acknowledge my complaint by 16:00.

I have just recieved a reply from the Chief Executives office, and they will be looking into it, and to be honest I am now more concerned that Mr Kellys behaviour is looked into than getting the R+R on the Xbox 360.

    Will keep you informed.

In this you have to understand why this policy exists in America, out there if you get caught overpricing you get charged $100 per item by weights and measures, if you have the equivalent 'if things don't add up policy' they halve that fine to $50. So therefore the policy out there is not for the customers benefit but to save their own a***s.

Walmart the parent group of Asda, the walmart overcharged website, outlines a very large law suit being claimed against them for their mistakes. I just hope the outcome to that is they adopt a similar policy to other stores there to reduce their costs. Walmart took 285 US billion dollars in profit last year. Maybe we will eventually see ASDA adopt Tescos policy here.
As my sig, seems to be offending some. I have removed it, god bless you mr T.

did you know, he used to work for sainsburys and there's an interesting story about that. more to follow

    What a load of tosh.

Either have some balls and post under your usual MSE handle or go and play on another thread.

..........or perhaps he knows his back is against the wall because this !!!! up comes so closely behind the last one. Maybe he is hoping that his boss Mr Leahy doesn't get to hear about it is more likely!

  • For those that saw my picture message HERE! there was just one thing missing.... something that is now quite rare to see.... the hex display stand...

Well all the way from Crawley West Sussex, here is their Hex stand... with the full savings displayed...

however the Pro Evo Game is advertised at £39.97 and has been since the beginning of the week, as we know and my other pictures prove this was not the case in all stores.
