  • It's a public forum right so you can do what you want, what you do in your life is no concern of Tesco's, not illegal so what's his problem?

Play like the politicians and don't acknowedge the question till you've heard it six times.;)

Good luck, just think of him sat in the loo if he gets intimidating.:D

    Good luck mate.

It's fairly likely that he will bring up the subject of MSE. Are you identifiable by your posts on here? Just keep reiterating the fact that you're not doing anything illegal and you always thought Tesco were happy to give free items rather than incur huge fines from Trading Standards for illegal overcharging (Prunella Scales TV ad - customers are actively encouraged to look for misprices). Stand your ground, keep it amicable, but expect him to keep twisting the situation to make out that you're the problem, not Tesco.

Well, I expect I'm fairly identifiable by my postson here, especially if he is reading this now!

And anyway, I only came acoss this site when I did a search for "tesco overcharging" after being overcharged, so got no worries there! ;)

It'll stay amicable, got nothing to get upset about, as far as I'm concerned I'm in the right here, got nothing to hide so why should I be uptight when going into the meeting.

Havent managed to get anyone to come with me though thats the only thing
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

    Alan or Alana?

But she (Alana Lipkin) got some balls, going back 47 times i one day and getting over $1300 on one shopping trip.

Tesco would hate here :D (not sure if she still lives over there or here)

So, who fancies being on the front page of the Sun in a similar pose with a boot full of Xbox games, consoles, cds, meat joints, radios, e.t.c?

That's the only thing that would concern me a bit. It's useful to have a witness, and it also changes the whole dynamic of the situation if there's 2 of you. If he gets unreasonable I'd just get up and walk out - don't give him the pleasure of sitting there and listening to it. I'm only thinking of worst case scenarios, though - he could be a really decent bloke.

Unlikely with a little power comes a lot of hassle. A little bit more, and it eases, take for example the difference between Kevin, and Terry.:rotfl:
