Tesco misprice discussion area part 13

Ok, sorry i did not mean to bring this topic up again. But it's the first i've seen it as a sig. I've seen r&r in a sig but not a golden r&r.

So i wont go down that road and clog this thread up with the rights and the wrongs of it and and just leave it be.

3 mobiles today and 2 yesterday - no much hassle £430 in mobiles in 2 days

Tesco have real problems with these at the moment, lots of glitches and I suspect I will pick up some more tomorrow, just not enough time in the day and running out of stores in my locality.

Shame that they have tidied up the consoles with the new boxed packages, but hey they were good while they were on.

Looks like TV's are another new problem though

Actually it was you who encouraged me to think through the 'Golden R&R' refund logic, when I first started I would not have done it.

But as it is both legal (most importantly) and logical and profitable, I am now all for it. Happy Christmas Leadhead (assuming you are a christian).

Yes I remember our arguments (not discussion)...It took me a long time( with lots of help, mainly from ben500) to convince the majority of the forum that this was in fact within Tesco's Policy and not against the law. I certainly appreciated Mr T's generosity in allowing me to bank around £1200 (brag)........

Cash only..........No Club Cards..................you WILL get caught with a clubcard

Edit...by "caught" i mean......Noted and marked by Tesco HO.

Ok do people use Cash for all the R&R's? Or just the big ones?

I know about the Clubcard rule but i hate carrying money around and use my CC for everything.

Cash for all r&r's and no r&r's for anything for less than £10

Hopefully the new way promoting the consoles will fall apart as soon as they get some price changes. My local store now has the xbox 360 on a cardboard stand, on 3 different shelves and in another 2 places as gotw bundles. The xbox 360 has now reduced in price to £184.97 and only one of the shelf SELs has been changed the others still say £199 hoping they are as lax if they go up in price.

Why reveal any of your details to Tesco when you don't have to?, you also flag up card misuse to your bank.

cash is king and never use your clubcard

2 funny experiences today though

CS Assistant in one store "I hate this policy" I wonder why?, its not her money

Other store wanted to refund me and then make the transaction again, a she kept telling the manager that this shoukd be the course of action, I had a 2 minute discussion with him and he saw my way of thinking.

can anyone advise please bought a phone today for daughter legit when i paid at till £20 discount did not come of went to cs desk was offered £20 cash back said no as i told her knew about tesco policy, manager came said it was not a r&r because it was classed as a discount and checkout person should have pressed to authrise the reduction at checkout so would only offer me £20 back i refused and said i would call head office tomorrow any advise guys

I'd go back ask to speak to a different manager before trying HO, which phone was it?
