hi - I know this might be slightly off misprice topic but I was wondering if anyone knew what the raincheck voucher policy is as I had purchased a family cranium game (last on shelf) and wanted to get some more at the same price whilst it was cheap and was told that raincheck vouchers are only given out on BOGOF with games and they are not given out at all if an item has been reduced due to "whilst stock lasts" - is this correct as I thought that you could get a raincheck voucher on anything as long as you wait for item to go up in price then buy it!! any info is appreciated - thanks

No, you do not have to wait for the product to go up in price. It holds the price or offer for you until more stock is in.

Sounds sensible to me not to issue them on limited stock items - if they are not getting more, no point in the voucher.

    I am not sure
  • thanks constantine for clarifying that - also wanted to say that I saw 4 guys at cs today, one had 5 of the same game and the other had 5 of another also they had taken something back(not sure if it was R&R), just wanted to say hi if this was you :)

Went visiting Mr T's today. 2 shops, not a sniff of a misprice. The meat was either correctly priced, or the packs were LESS than the SEL. No out of date SEL's on anything in wine, Xmas, books electricals etc etc.
Have they taken on more staff for the Xmas 'rush' cos I don't think there was one aisle without a bod with a scanner or someone tidying up the stock! Dozens of the b****rs about!!
Took back a failed R&R phone for a refund, & got a full refund :j

i thought that there were loads of staff every time i have been in, but having spoken to people in the know, it turns out alot of these are either monitoring stock levels for filling shelves, or they are picking internet orders for delivery, so although you may feel you are being watched every step you make, it may not be so!!

    most distressed!

spent a considerable sum this evening including an expensive mobile. the £20 discount was not deducted so I thought wow! free phone.

nope. offered £20 back. protested, asked for duty manager. duty manager said the policy says if the price does not match the shelf label or price on product a full refund can be given. but this was apparently a till operator error and does not count as i was charged the price on the shelf label. asked them to call head office but it was closed. the saga continues tomorrow but i was kept waiting an hour and will have to go back again.

right now tesco are not my favourite supermarket (might change tomorrow though!)

    who right? me or them?

    (be gentle - first post!)
