*note to self: remember to walk out of the store then come back in again before talking to CS about r+r*0 -

Oh no, my trips may be over. Tonight I went to my local Tesco and spotted the Xbox360 Splinetr Cell mispost on a promotional display. Just to be sure I checked (mistaek 1). Then (and probably mistake 2) I took a game from the "unpriced" chart display and put it where mine came from (for possible benefit of other R&Rer. I purchased the game, was overcharged and went to CS for refund. Duty manager came over a said that I had been spotted on CCTV checking price so knew about the overcharge. I had also been spotted moving additional game to display. Result. no R&R and a polite request to leave the store and not to return:eek: Very politely told I could take the matter up with HO as report would be forwarded but going of other comments on here little chance
Problem is I know some of the staff who were there at the time so little chance of sneeking in. I can still do my shopping at smaller Express store but R&R scouts will now be very restricted.
I point of note was comment by duty manager that they had notice a number of customer setting "regular" refunds and hence were "keeping an eye-out".
Any other come-back. Could they get me banned at other stores through either my clubcard or credit/debit card?0 -
Almost lost my train of thought there, anyone managed to scan the Bulmers cider crates? My local has removed all the labels today and I thought it was on offer until 14 November.Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together.0

Went to a smallish Tesco's today mainly on look out for the Xbox games. Eventually found the only scanner in the store and guess what?
It was surrounded by 5 managers! They were taking it in turns to wander off, but all the while at least 1 was standing right near it clearly watching it. Must have been there for 40 mins and in the end I saw my chance... rushed up to the scanner and.... oh for ****'s sake why do they always work so slowly?!
Turns out the prices I checked were all correct anyway
Not a good day for R&R for me.
And Mike it does look like they are getting more and more onto these things now. Would be pretty impossible to enforce a ban on you across the whole network of stores so wouldnt worry about that. Only advice I would give is not to s*** on your own doorstep in case a store decides to ban you at least you still have your local available.0 -
Is this an R&r
In local Tesco big end of aisle section on rump steak, reduced £/kg.
Offer says 'special purchase' and all packs have different labelling to normal rump steak, even though it is still called 'Fresh British Beef Rump Steak' the same as the rump steak in the normal meat section.
If I get a load of the normal rump steak, have I a case for r&r as it will scan at the normal price and not the 'special purchase' price?0
