Tesco misprice discussion area part 13

Mike J,
Point 1, I cant see the point in moving the item from one area to another because normally CS would remove the offending SEL anyway so there is no way another one of us could get this offer.
Point 2, If it is posted on here that the item is scanning incorrectly during the day then it is highly unlikely the price will have been changed. You would have been better off buying it and just taking it back for a refund to another store.
I have had no Xbox games myself as all the locals have had the higher price up all week. I'm gutted as the Mrs wants Lego aswell, and I would be quite happy with the other one.We took on Mr T and we won:D
Shame it had to end, will have to get free stuff from comps now :beer:0 -

I always make a droopy face at CS and say: "Frau Schamansky objects."0 -

spent a considerable sum this evening including an expensive mobile. the £20 discount was not deducted so I thought wow! free phone.
nope. offered £20 back. protested, asked for duty manager. duty manager said the policy says if the price does not match the shelf label or price on product a full refund can be given. but this was apparently a till operator error and does not count as i was charged the price on the shelf label. asked them to call head office but it was closed. the saga continues tomorrow but i was kept waiting an hour and will have to go back again.
right now tesco are not my favourite supermarket (might change tomorrow though!)
who right? me or them?
(be gentle - first post!)
Just call head office and have them sort it out with the store they will then call you back once this is done and give you names of who to ask for to get your RNR sorted - you could also complain about the duty manager to the store manager and regional managerTESCO EVERY LITTLE change to the t&cs HELPS0 -
Not exactly an R&R but still a good money saver at Tesco's.
The Free November issue of the Asda magazine is now available at the checkout of Asda stores. On the penultimate page there are 4 tokens that will give you money off at Tesco's. The 30p one gives you £1.28 off and the £1.50 one gives you £1.50 off. Not sure what you get with the 50p an 25p ones but will find out soon.IF THIS POST HAS BEEN HELPFUL - PLEASE CLICK ON THANKS :j0 -

It was posted the other night. One of them gives £4:50, as I recall.

Has anyone managed an r&r on a mobile today?, it looks like the Nokia6111, Pebl and the RAZR have now been fixed to prompt the Checkout Operator?, The sels have also turned yellow.
Anyone tried them tonight ?0 -
The only SEL in my local which has gone yellow is the Nokia. The other two are still on whites. Not tried yet though so my have been fixed and not changed the SELs.
The K750i is on a white SEL aswell. We took on Mr T and we won:D

what should i look out for?0 -
Can anyone help me with this one. Lets use XBOX GAMES as example.
How comes some games in the top 10 chart are SEL at £39.96 and others at £39.97. Ive had a few games on R'R this week but they have bn labelled at £34.** or £36.** so i knew it was a sure thing.
I was tempted to try one of the games ending with SEL .96 but didnt risk it. Anyone got any thoughts on this one?0 -
