Got RnR on an xbox game today. CS told me to take advantage of the policy and tell friends and family, the more people who alert them to pricing diffrence's the easier they can resolve them  .... makes a change from being told i'm taking the pee :p

I always seem to go bright red and feel like everone is looking at me when I go to CS tho :o

I don't think its as cut and dried as that, at the moment I can get £200-£300 worth r&r over 1-2 weeks from this store. I don't want to spoil that by going for this and making a fuss.

No need to make a fuss in store, call customer services from home, point out the overcharge, then when they refuse the overcharge, contact Head Office who will send you a cheque.

Customer services won't see your face and you can carry on R+R in store.

Thats how I did it when I got my free Xbox360 :D

After Kevin Kelly told me today that me being able to buy an X Box bundle pack was because of a 'goodwill gesture' on behalf of Tesco, I would like him to know (as it has been said, he does peruse this thread from time to time!) that my family, including the rottie dog have been enjoying slabs of organic rump steak tonight also as a 'goodwill gesture' on behalf of Tesco. Long may the 'goodwill gestures' continue is what I say, because now I will try to be first in line for all of them.

Hmmm...do I go for this one?

Bought petrol at 8x.9, had voucher which reduced it by x per litre. Calc (price per litre x 36.6x litres) says I should have paid £28.8x, when I paid £28.9x.

Does this count as an overcharge? And as it's petrol, does it count as a RnR?

Although Constantine (who should know better than anyone) says 'no', I am sure I have seen the misprice sign in petrol stations.

Re your 'overcharge', my guess is that the most likely reason is that you only get 5p off of each complete litre, rather than all your fill (ie you get 5p x 36 litres discount, not 5 x 36.6.)
The only discrepancy to this would be if the checkout operator had given the wrong discount - and operator errors are usually disqualified from R&R.

So I would say no R&R in this case.

Today, in a Cambridgeshire store, I got Now Dance 2007 SEL £13.97 charged £14.97. Last week, I managed to get the breadmaker, the week before the mp3 player, various books and games for PSP/ DS / Gameboy which have already been listed in the misprice thread. I wasn't interested in the XBoxes :) But good luck to anyone who manages to get one :)

That would explain why when I went in a Cambridgeshire store today there were 3-4 staff price checking and changing labels in the electrical / music dept . LOL WELL DONE!!!!!

No R&R;s now for over 2 weeks hmmmph!

Tesco have withdrawn their XBox 360's and the XBox 360 and Pro Evolution 6Bundles due to price error overcharging customers. Bought one a couple of days previous to that so must have been overcharged. Does anyone know reason (they have now took off their labels) its to do with the saving advertised but need to know to complain! thanks

You will not get any refund if you involve HO as it goes through Kevin Kelly who is very shirty, !!!!!!, defensive about this mistake and will not budge on your assertion of a misprice. Just give Trading Standards a call to get them involved and finally get Mr T's !!!! kicked once and for all. Because they have cocked up and are now on the backfoot with it until FES 06 comes off Game of the Week.

  • hi - I know this might be slightly off misprice topic but I was wondering if anyone knew what the raincheck voucher policy is as I had purchased a family cranium game (last on shelf) and wanted to get some more at the same price whilst it was cheap and was told that raincheck vouchers are only given out on BOGOF with games and they are not given out at all if an item has been reduced due to "whilst stock lasts" - is this correct as I thought that you could get a raincheck voucher on anything as long as you wait for item to go up in price then buy it!! any info is appreciated - thanks

i went to a certain large store in the cambridgeshire region ( will say no more) and saw several dvd potentials, as well as the xbox games. i cant see how they can get all of their price errors sorted as well as serving all customers. i shall be back tomorrow at some stage to obtain some more free christmas presents. i have tried for an xbox 360 but am struggling having visited 5 stores. i shall also be looking to fill my freezer with tescos finest chicken, steak and other high quality products:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

i just want to say:beer: to the two lads on the elctricals desk for sorting my r+r on the simpsons for me. didn't even hardly look at me let alone query it!!
