An idea to appeal to your charitable nature.........
Everyone will be familiar with the Farepak Hampers collapse, and the loss of Xmas savings of all of their customers. Many of these people have lost all hope of enjoying their Xmas and kids will not have presents.
You may have heard of the appeal that is now ongoing.
My idea to help these guys is to donate my next r and r to the appeal. This might be a donation of the item, or more probably the amount I can sell the r and r for.
Why don't you others try it because I think that sending the money to a good cause will make you feel good when getting your refund and you can be charitable without it costing you.
If you don't want to support this appeal, what about Children in Need next week?0 -
and the big headline TESCOS donates £2m to charity through overcharging it is a good idea i thought about it last week
only thought about it though0 -
Nice idea (the Farepak bit).
Way thats been handled/allowed to happen makes Tesco look like the patron Saint of retailing.Who or what was I before you came in to my life

In what way does this affect my suggestion?0 -
Hmmm...do I go for this one?
Bought petrol at 8x.9, had voucher which reduced it by x per litre. Calc (price per litre x 36.6x litres) says I should have paid £28.8x, when I paid £28.9x.
Does this count as an overcharge? And as it's petrol, does it count as a RnR?Comp wins: Masters Cup tickets0 -
