Agreed, but if one store makes a mistake it will certainly give hope. Soz im still fairly new to this :rotfl:

There will always be one, it's just down to pot luck if you find it or not, you just have to get out there and find it!! And don't forget to post your finds on the misprice only thread;)

  • What sort of excuses is this Kevin chap giving then .. ?

How are they (I presume) going to try and wriggle out of a perfectly straight overcharge??

    Hi,

Does this have to be displayed and where should it be and what would it say and look like?

I have looked for it near the CS area and can't see it anywhere!

If they don't have it, does that mean R & R's won't work in there?

    Thanks
  • a lot of these offers have been extended online so probably the same instore:mad:

The R'R sign (NEVER EVER say R'R in Tesco tho lol) is on the big blue board behind the CS desk, it will be the last few lines. It doesnt have to be displayed, i did one last night and it wasnt displayed which i found strange but they still have to adhere to the policy, as does every other Tesco store..

Thanks, so if i got something, which was overpriced and went to CS, would i just simply say i have been charged more than the SEL and take it from there?
If that was not good enough, what would i say without mentioning the R & R?
  • if they try and give you the difference just point out that you thought the policy was to give a full refund and that the customer gets to keep the item.:A

Tesco do not use the term R&R, so don't use it as you'll give yourself away!

Sign at CS is a big blue one, near the bottom it says:

"And if things don't add up ~ In the unlikely event you are charged a higher price than on the shelf or the product we will refund your money and you can keep the product"

These signs are also white A4 size on checkouts. :D

Wouldn't use the term SEL either - shop talk.

Just say 'The label on the shelf says it should be £x.xx'

Just say that you thought that tesco policy (the "and if things don't add up" bit of it which is on the small signs at checkouts/customer services and sometimes large sign near customer services) mean that you should be offered a full refund and get to keep the goods.
