yes but im looking for any ive missed !
  • I have been to 2 tescos today and noticed the xbox360 displays in both of them, I don't have the funds to try these so if anyone wants to know where they are please pm me
Real men never follow instructions; after all they are just the manufacturer's opinion on how to put something together. :p

wlfc1 have you managed to get one yourself? i will pm you if my local tescos has the offending sign and if i get one tonight (waiting for OH, you'd think he'd be more excited considering his xbox is out of action)

  • I normally spend around £100 on groceries on top of the r&r item/s.
I have only seen the two witches (change the 'w' for a 'B') at this Tesco. Anybody know what time the cs shifts are?
    Thanks for the good advice.

Most CS Shifts end at 10pm, there is usually noone to assist you after that time unless a CS assistant or team leader is on checkout.

    HI All,

I have been a regular guest on the forum, checking it out and looking at all the deals, I managed to get a R&r on sunday for xbox r & r my first and I felt extremely guilty.

I went again as I was after something else and tried again just to see, but this time it didnt work.

I wondered, what is the quickest way to work out £/kg, love to try this out but too afraid to look a complete idiot when trying to work out the receipt

and the other thing, if I take say a DVD back sealed, and exchange it for one with a potential r&r then pay the different, could I go to leave the shop and then return saying, they've over-charged????

Also is using sainsbury's /asda vouchers okay, is it legal? i take it you use the self scanning? do the operators keep an eye out on you, and finally yu obviously pay by card, would you?

1st thing - Do not feel guilty because if you hadn't noticed the overcharge, then Tesco would be guily of ripping you off by taking more money from you than you were entitled.

2nd - You don't have to work the £/kg out, you just need to see that the £/kg on the product is higher than the £/kg on the Self Edge Label (SEL). If this is the case then when you buy it you will have been overcharged and qualify for a refund.

Lastly - Why take a DVD back for an exchange for an overpriced one? Why don't you just buy the overpriced one and keep both or exchange the other one for one that is not overpriced?

You don't have to leave the shop, either.

Blimey, and there's me thinking it was the 50p Asda one on the last page of the mag that I had to use.

I've scanned three of these in Tesco's and they have come up at £3.89!!! It didn't occur to me that a manufacturer's coupon could be wrong.

Oh well, back to Tescos for some more shopping.

yesterday the tesco operator on the self scan opened the machine for a good look at my coupon(£1 book) she allowed it though good job it was not an asda one
  • I have just returned from an experience from hell after trying to r+r the Xbox I bought earlier today. I am still flushed and shaking after being made to feel like a criminal. The manager refused to give me his name and kept calling me "Darlin' " in a very condesending manner. Eventually, I was passed over to customer services on their phone at the desk after arguing for nearly an hour on the shop floor with customers and staff watching and pointing at me. I then had a further hour expressing my point of view (arguing) with a series of people on the phone culminating with a very nasty Kevin K---y, who threatened to ban me from the store(this is my first r+r ever, by the way). "We will give you £2 for the difference and that's your lot", I was told throughout.
I have complained to Tranding Standards and they have told me that there are 2 potential criminal offences that they will investigate. Mispricing and misadvertising.
    Where did I go wrong?
    Any ideas?
