is this cause CS HO have been informed? does anyone know if this is the case - that all tescos have been informed to cover up the misleading savings?:A Boots Tart :A0 -
I normally spend around £100 on groceries on top of the r&r item/s.
I have only seen the two witches (change the 'w' for a 'B') at this Tesco. Anybody know what time the cs shifts are?
Thanks for the good advice.0 -
Addicted_to_Saving_Money wrote:i had an r&r today on some xmas decorations. They were priced at £2.97 a pack on the box but the SEL stated £1.97. I picked up 5 packs of these so I got a refund of £14.85. I also used one of the Asda 50p coupons at the self scanner which deducts £4.50 so this paid for most of the rest of my shopping that I got!!
what asda 50p coupons would they be then?????????0 -
hi just posting to ask if anyone has any graphics skills if they could do a logo for the https://www.tesco-complaint.blogspot.com tesco complaints website. something simple like TESCO logo then "-COMPLAINT" in a rubberstamp style with "(because Tesco's apologies are cheap)" along the bottom..0

Just had a bit of a frustrating time at my T's. X-Box's all markings removed, missed that, hey-ho, but I saw the paint by numbers thats been around for a while and simpsons series 1 & 4 DVDS scannng 39.xx but stickered 19.84. Sweet, or so I thought. Picked the most bored, disinterested till person I could find,or so I thought, and went through. Despite my amazing wit and repartie she noticed the stickers on the DVD's, and to top it off when the paint by numbers were going through she said "Oh, these have been scanning wrong all week, I'll get someone to adjust the price for you" I was gobsmacked. Win some lose some I guess, but jeez was she keen. As the great man Homer would say D'oh
Oh and does anybody know the policy on returning DVD's? Can I get my money back?{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -

I haven't. I've got one sitting in front of me now waiting for Kevin Kelly to check out my 'problem' in store!! It's a long winded story but I did come away with the 'bundle box' and got the misprice on it.DTD - Doing Tesco Daily - while I still have vouchers!0 -

In the latest Asda Mag (free available in-store), there's a 50p off UniBall coupon. It scans at Tesco, and instead of taking of 50p takes off £4.50. Also, you don't need to be purchasing the product.
Hope that helps'I love being married. It's so great to find the one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life' :heartpuls0 -

If thats the case and you have receipts to prove that you have spent that on top of your R&Rs I would carry on regardless, if you come across the witch again dont enter into an arguement with her just politely ask to speak to a manager and explain you case, if she says you are constantly at it, show them your receipts to prove you are doing your shopping there too not just getting R&Rs.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently!0 -
I've got a few R&R's with games recently armed with this info
Tekken for the PSP example
When it was first released tesco had it as game of the week and for £29.97
the next week it went up to £32.97
This happens across the board with all consoles & DVD's.
Tesco plugs the new game for the first week at a low price then puts the price up the next week. (sometimes 2 weeks)
Where you get an R&R is when the cheaper label remains.
The bigger the store the better as the game may be dotted around several places on the shelf. Major releases like Pro evo soccer had it's own cardboard stand. So if the employee has his A4 sheet of new labels he thinks he has done his job by replacing the new label, but as we know there is sometimes more than one label for one item. If these remain its free games all round!
I got an R&R on FIFA 07 last week £29.97 (£32.97) I found it again today for £29.97 but noticed the bar code had a /03 at the end so thought it may have gone back down to £29.97 and sure enough it had so I put it back. So this system is not 100% but a handy guide and more reliable than random scanning.
So I make a note of the current games of the week at £24.97, £29.97 etc... then I check the next week if the prices are still them same or have gone up.
I was surprised so see the new season of 24 on at £24.97. I bet next week or week after it will be £29.97 or more so I will be keeping a close eye on this one... especially as it's stickered and much cheaper than the previous seasons. HTH0
