So what other problems does the car have?
How did it drive 6 weeks ago?
6 weeks ago I drove it twice then it wouldn't start and spent 10days back at garage having starter motor I then haven't driven it more than once a week so no more than 3 four times since between then and today.May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -

Batgirl If you have the log book why not contact the prevous owners to see if they had any problems with the car and why they sold it.0

207's don't usually get slated for poor handling.
Parkers are quite nice about them.

A flat back tyre wouldn't help on ice, and it has been bad for black ice recently.
What's it like now it's thawed?0 -
You should check your tyre pressures at least once a week along with oil levels, lights etc although many drivers don't for some reason.
What was the reason for your car being in the garage for a week?0 -
Just an idea, as you brought it from a dealer why don't you just go back to the dealer and tell them your concerns. It does not seem right that you've only had the car a few weeks and it's already have problems. The worst they can do is say they are not interested.0

I doubt you have a case for taking it back for a refund/exchange, especially if it's been over a month and there's nothing actually wrong with it. Just wondering why it's been in the garage for over a week and why you took it back today? if there's still a fault that they havent rectified then it might be worth talking to trading standards.
On the other hand if the cars fine and you just have lost confidence in it because you skidded on ice, which is just one of things, then I think you either have to get used to it or sell it and take the hit financially.
Thank you for this advice.May 2015 £10 a day currently £2080 -
