Hi All

I bought a peugeot 207 at the beginning of December and it was 10 months old I have now had it 6 weeks and it has spent one week of that in the garage and had another trip to the garage today. I hate this car with a passion it is unreliable and I don't trust it as far as I could through it.

I bought the car for £7500 and traded in my focus for £3600 (which they still have on the forecourt for £5,995) I decided today after losing control of the car three times on the way to work that I want rid of it but looking on the internet the trade in prices are £5500 for my car and I can not afford to A) lose £2000 and B) don't have a penny more to put towards another car.

I am gutted, I only changed my car as I had some insurance come through and thought it sensible to change cars while I had some money as i won't have any money again for a lot of years.

Does anyone know where I stand with cooling off period with the garage or anything at all?

I am truly desperate and don't feel safe driving it now and am heartbroken I have lost all the money I have any help or advice would be amazing.

Thank you lots

Why did you lose control 3 times?

Maybe you should check the tyre pressure or take some driving lessons.

I have driven for 14years never lost control of a car or had an accident thank you.

I took it straight to the garage they blamed the ice which is very bad here at the moment but also said rear tyre pressure was very low.

Good question, I was wondering that as well, there must be something seriously wrong with the car or the driver to do that.

You not driving to the conditions nor appropriately maintaining a car does not entitle you to take a car back.

    Sorry.

I have had the car 6 wks and only had it out the garage for 2 weeks when the checked it 100% I don't believe you should check your tyre pressure every 2 wks?

    Why what's wrong with it?

So far it looks like tyre pressure and driver error.
