Find out what the extra is for, check the original agreement to make sure it's not appeared suddenly.

But you have not had insurance, your insurance has been invalid since your licence was revoked.

You have been paying an insurance premium, but that does not mean that you have been insured.

I know this now but am baffled

I'd not mention that if I was you.
    Maybe not even post it.

Sorry you were not ignored, or maybe i missed it?
  • I believe that your insurance is invalid if you do not have a valid license so as part of your finance agreement to have valid insurance you have failed to do this and thus had your car taken by the company by default

Yes Jeff I fully understand this

Well if i were you then i would keep very quiet about that as you have broken the law for a long time and have committed fraud by getting insurance for the last 2 years when you have not had a license to drive.

Insurance companies don't bother to check anything you tell them until such a time as they have to pay out. They then do all the checks they can trying to find some way to avoid paying out.
