travellers travel so have NO FIXED ABODE and the change of address doesnt apply. OP has a fixed address!

Really are there special rules for them?

Is that on the back of your licence too?

So you can't anything about using an address you are contactable at by the DVLA? That's enough.

I said the OP would be likely to get 6 points if they ran everything. However you have yet to provide any evidence that the insurance company have withdrawn her 3rd party cover.

After all she has paid her policy, did you?

go back and look did i say they HAVE.....................NO! is said its a possability under the circumstances.

if your address is updated to current address not mums or dads friends aunties uncles cousens friends nans grandfathers, then issues like the OP's would not have arisen as she would have had the letter for her revoke! keeping records uptodate prevents things like the OP's.

still not read your licence then?

The fact is the DVLA would still issue the new licence to her parents address if they still live there. The OP could collect it from there and continue to drive and not face a £1000 fine.;)

I see you chose not to answer that.:D
