It's got nothing to do with "one way streets". queing applies to any road.

Markyt - there may not be a specific law against it, but that doesn't mean it's OK to do. It says in the Highway Code NOT to do it, so don't! Argue with the police when you get pulled over if you like!
I do 'undertake' plenty, generally on 2 laners rather than 3, but only after a flash of lights behind the offender, and giving them a chance to move over. They usually look over when being undertaken as if I'm the bad driver. Did they not get taught to drive on the LEFT?!

Which is correct it is not an offence in its self. It is covered by "driving without due care" and "dangerous driving" though!
