would be the same as chicken? 3 days in a cold fridge. cooked up for another dish and then stock or freeze.

to be fair, we have eaten some cooked meats stored longer in our fridge but not fed it to anyone else. we have a healthy immune system!

Cooked and carved Christmas eve, left overs portioned up into 2 batches of one in cold gravy so it's not reheated (for 4-6 peeps) and another without which is about the same amount without then frozen, same goes for the beef and the gammon is usually frozen on boxing day
One day I might be more organised...........

Nor do we. Wouldn't bother at Christmas either if it wasn't for mr newleaf. I much prefer chicken myself, and there's only ever 3 of us for Christmas dinner.
