I would eat them! cook em now iff you're worried.

  • I would cook them now, will 'stop the clock' as far as bacterial growth goes. Cooking won't destroy any toxins of course.

If you cook them now you can taste test them, and if they're foul you can bin them and no one will ever know.

Plus it's one less thing to do tomorrow.

cook them and you'll know immediately. The smell of off sausages will be obvious when the heat hits them.

Yes..wouldnt think twice about it :)
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..
  • First of all, I hope you all had a good Christmas!

I have a bottle of pure Canadian maple syrup BBE 01/09, its been opened...
Does anyone know if it will actually be OK?

I'm hoping its like honey. Although we all know honey lasts hundreds of years, the jars nearly always have a best before date on.

I'm really wanting to use it as part of a recipe for my gammon joint tho and dont want to upset anyones tum ;)

  • I'd taste it. If it looks OK, smells OK and tastes OK then I'd use it.
If we are supposed to be thin, why does chocolate exist?

I had some opened maple syrup that wasn't in the fridge and it grew mould on the top - yuk- so just have a good look at it!

It's not the same as honey unfortunetly.

If it's been kept cool I think it will be fine. We brought half a gallon of maple syrup back from Vermont and it lasted for years in the fridge..
