This seems like a PR disaster all around & sounds like a great media story. Someone on here must have a good contact, or this is a good one for Martin. It is probably worth someone notifying Lindt about this disaster as they might be able to assist, e.g by providing discounted vouchers to the promoter. I'm on trains most of today, so just a suggestion...

Hello Everybody ...

I have this morning spoken to Karen Sharp of National Magazines Subscriber Promotions ... She has told me the following ...

The Suscription was vastly over subscribed ... some early orders will receive the gift ... but likely not all ... they said they had been trying to contact Lindt concerning this ... but the person involved was on holiday until Monday! ... In conclusion she would get back to me to let me know ...

I passed on 5lilpigs suggeston of a Lindt Gift Voucher which she thought was a good idea ...

I have emailed her to reiterate with my subscriber number and my name & address ... and I asked if i could pass on her email to my 'friends' who had also subscribed and she said I could ...

State your Name and Address and your Subscriber Number ... or better still forward your confirmation email together with a short note saying you have not recieved your gift and when would it arrive etc ...

I would say it best not to mention MSE in any emails as to not stir up any conspiracy theories!

Hi all

I cannot believe this - I have just read this post. I too subscribed to get the yummy chocs at the begining of the month but as they had taken my account details down incorrectly I only really subscribed last week!!! So there isn't anyway i'lll be getting the chocs.

I rang the subscriptiions today and was told that the system for 'She' Mag was down for maintance - probably due to this fiasco!!! He also said that it is never gauranteed that you will get the free gift as they are only allocated a set amount.

Up shot is I have already recieved one magazine but the direct debit has not been taken - so I have cancelled the direct debit which is due out on the 14th and I will ring them tomorrow to advise them on that, do you think this is OK even though I have recieved one magazine???

What a joke!!!
