I subscribed on 6 November and received my chocolates today
They are all smashed into bits though, the box they came in was squashed and battered :sad:0 -

I have e-mailed them and am just waiting to hear back from them0 -
Hi
I subscribed 8/11 - no chocs & no response to e-mails plus I have phoned them and they promised to call me back after investigations - but they haven't!!
I was hoping for the chocs for my childrens xmas stockings and the chocs are the only reason that I subscribed.
It stated in the Nov. issue that the gifts will be received within 28 days so I am not a happy bunny!!
I think I might request my money back as they have not fulfilled the contract!

After an exchange of emails (all pleasant but no Lindt Christmas chocolates arriving as a result!) I finally received one this afternoon telling me that as the original Lindt sets have been exhausted they have managed to arrange an alternative (not Christmas themed) :j from Lindt plus either a book or an Avon Anew product (no choice as to which). These will be sent out in the New Year.
I too was very disappointed, having bought 2 subscriptions in early November and was counting on the chocolate gifts to give to my sons and maybe other friends/relatives for Christmas. Having seen some of the gift items in local shops that had made me really excited about the gift, so it was a let down when I was told that they had run out (and yet people who had ordered their subscriptions later than I did had received Lindt gifts).
As I have been off work for 2 weeks with bronchitis the chocs would have been really useful as I have had to get all the stocking fillers from the Internet. Thank goodness for MSE I have been able to order several items, many of which have arrived in just a day or two!
This new offer does sound very good so I look forward to receiving my 2 x free gift sets in the New Year. :T0 -
This afternoon 2 very cold boxes were waiting on my doorstep (delivered by ANC) - it was the free gifts for my 2 subscriptions - I never received the original Lindt gift despite ordering early.
Each box contained a large box of chocs, a small box and (appropriate for today's weather) a snowman!!! Total value stated as around £12 and a book: Island Beauty: Natural Inspiration for Mind, Body, and Soul by India Hicks (RRP £18.99). :j
I suppose the book has saved me from slipping off the wagon on my first day of Yet Another Diet...the chocs will make great gifts with decent best-before dates.
Hope that others will also receive a surprise in the mail soon!:T0 -
I got this too yesterday, exactly the same things. Took quite a few e-mails for it to eventually arrive though.
Were abouts are you? Do you think it made a difference as to not getting them before Christmas? I am in NI0 -
Just noticed the £12 Direct Debit on my bank statement so to ensure no further payments are made and the sub. ends after 12 months I've called the bank to cancel the mandate:wave: Falkirk Bairn0
