I subscribed on the 2/11 but no sign of the mag or the chocolates......

Rang customer services on Friday - they said my mag had been despatched and that my free gift had been 'ordered'

Still no sign of any of it though. E-mailed but no reply, no mag and no chocs.

Hope they arrive by Friday - I'll be away for 3 weeks after that!!!!

Don't lose hope brazilianwax - I am sure your turn will come.

Come on MSE'ers keep posting here when you receive your chocs so that people like brazilianwax can remain hopeful of getting theirs. :grouphug:

(as LittleBill has said before - please also post the date you subscribed)

LittleBill: Thanks for the new PM. :rudolf: (oops, sorry ;) )

bad news Im afraid received this email today:
Thank you for your recent email.

I unfortunately I have to advise due to the overwhelming response to this offer
all stock of the original gift has been exhausted. May I therefore ask you to
choose an alternative from the following:

GOOD HOUSEKEEPING CHOCOLATE BOOK + RENU EYE & LIP ACTIVE LIFT CREAM

    CHARLES WORTHINGTON DREAM HAIR SET

Once again please accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may
have caused, I do however hope you will find the alternative satisfactory and
trust you continue to enjoy the magazine.

but they are offering a gift subsitute so that is good of them, some companies welch on these deals and anyway £12 for 12 mags is a cracker of a deal with or without chocs

Many Thanks for this update Bubba ....

I am starting to lose the logic in these deliveries ... some people have received who subbed on November 11th ... but others before them have not got theirs ... and i am not even sure if it has anything to do with whether they have taken your direct debit yet! ... they are not due to take mine until January 2007!

Sorry to hear that pchoc  (unless of course you prefer what they are offering you now - in which case I'm very pleased for you  ).

If you would still prefer to have the choccies, and as they have told Bubba that they are awaiting a new delivery of chocolates, it may be worth you double checking to see if they might possibly include you with their next chocolate deliveries before you actually opt for a substitute offer.

When did you actually subscribe to the She magazine offer?
The date obviously makes a difference but I'm not sure if it also makes a difference as to when you asked your subscription to begin. I asked for mine to start from the January 2007 issue which was sent to me 01-12-06.

I don't think that makes it any clearer Busybee ... mine is due to start in March 2007 ... when my 3 for $1 finishes ... and I am not due to pay until 12th January 2007!

The Chocolate Gnomes are working in very mysterious ways ...
