I didn't get a confirmation email either but they have taken the dough and sent the first issue out - hopefully name and address will be enough!!

To those it may help the magazine subscription terms & conditions with regard to the gift read like this ...

The free gifts will be sent under seperate cover to the person paying for the subscription. Products may vary from those shown. Please allow 28 days for delivery

There is also an * note which reads ... Gift only available when paying by Direct Debit

I read this as you will always receive a gift ... though where it states ... products may vary ... this would mean that you may get different Lindt Chocolates ... not an entirely different thing or nothing at all!

There is no mention on the page or in my email confirmation that the gift is subject to availability ...

I believe we all have a very good case for them upholding this offer in some way .... after all National Magazines have received 3 times more subscriptions than they have budgeted for in December ... somebody is getting a bonus! ...

The fight goes on ... Many Thanks to all who have emailed to complain ...

Did you order over the link or by phone? ... even if over the phone they should have sent something to say the money would be dedeucted from your account ... they need to by law ...

Has anyone actually received the chocolates ? Have just came off the phone with a guy called Sean from their customer services,the answer I got from him regarding delivery of the chocolates was "You will not be receiving any ,all our offers are subject to availability and we have none.I asked about any alternative gifts and he said none are available !!!!!!
