Hi chevalier, 'seen' you around other threads too, thanks for reading my [STRIKE]drivel[/STRIKE] musings :D

Just got nutrition plan through and going to be busy this weeked so will post up some stuff - once I've actually digested it, but on first glance it seems ok.

Bread is out, bananas, porridge unless I add seeds to it, but gonna try and just cut it out, there's no soup on there, must ask him about this as I make my own so might be ok. No mince, so I'm guessing bolognaise, chilli and lasagna is out, no pasta - funnily I had pasta last night but didn't enjoy it, not sure if if was the mouldy bit I found that put me off

Will think of more later and post over the weekend, have a nice one everybody!

P.S. Bridalplasty was an American show edinburgher, brides trying to win their perfect wedding (and get surgeries) was quite entertaining if only to see Jenessa get crushed :D

    Hello again,

dont even contemplate twinks hobnobs if trying to lose weight. They are equally delicious & evil :rotfl:.

I swear that at least half a stone lurking on my hips can be accounted for by hobnobs.

If you like porridgey type stuff how about trying oatbran. I'm not a fan of normal oaty porridge as I find it too slodgy but this stuff is quite fine & apparently has amazing cholesterol-reduction powers too, I have it with some skimmed milk & cinnnamon for flavouring.

Naturally having eaten that for brekkie, I can then stuff my face with crisps, cake & chocolate for the rest of the day :rotfl:

    Morning all,

Well think all that was mentioned above was pretty much it for leaving stuff out of diet, apart from the obvious of fizzy drinks, cakes and biscuits and stuff. Finding it a bit of a struggle though to come up with some good meals, he has put down some options but I'm guessing I could make my own options out of the ingredients, will have to check.

Don't have lunch in today so will need to go and buy something healthy at lunch-time, did have a poached egg and turkey rashers this morning, were quite tasty. Made it to the gym last night but it got really busy, still did an hour though.

Haircut too, just a trim so doesn't even look done, but took my tiara (yeah I finally got one I really like) and she tried a wee something with my hair. Going to go for leaving it down so don't need to stress over trying to grow it much more, want to look like 'myself' anyway rather than having some 'up-do' that I'm not used to.

Wee bit spendy but nothng over the top, all manageable, wow it's great to have things under control, even had some extra in salary this month due to 1st aid payment. Savings going ok, going to concentrate on wedding/cruise savings as everything else can be paid nearer the time or missed, if I can't afford false eyelashes I will just have to get a really good mascara.

    Afternoon,

Well not much going on at the moment, OH hasn't said anything about the house yet and tbh I'm starting to go off the idea. We can get a deposit no problem but I think it's going to be as much hassle as buying any other. Only problem with that is estate agents will be involved, really not looking forward to moving house now, it was so much easier buying mines in the first place. Trying to be positive but it's not working.

No spends so far today, should only be £2 if I go to the gym but can't be bothered tonight, got loads of housework to catch up on, I know it sounds like I'm making excuses and I probably am but finding time to do things these days is like trying to find a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

Once I've seen the PT tomorrow I'm going to get him to do me a training plan at the gym I've already got a membership for, seems stupid paying for that then extra for the other one, will still go at least once a week (instead of 3) as I've bought sparring gloves (luckily only £5).

Just over 2 weeks since becoming debt free and it's not gotten any easier, feel like still thinking about money all the time, will this feeling go??

    Hi Swinstie,

Sorry to hear things are a bit difficult at the moment. Good idea to get PT to suggest a gym plan - at least all the work will help to get that lovely lean body!

Not sure what to suggest about the house - things might have just gone quiet as everyone gets ready for EAster break and will get back on track afterwards?

In some ways its good that you are still thinking about money alot - if you hadn't have learned you'd just be out spending (remember handbags and gladrags?!).

Hope tomorrow is a better day.

    Hi all,

Not been around much, too busy enjoying the lovely weekend (apart from the rain on Saturday)!

Well had my first session with my PT, it was fab. He really puts you through the mill, felt really good afterwards and have been trying very hard to stick to the nutrition plan. It's costing tonnes though, just spent £71 in Asda today (that did include a new quilt, pillows and enough loo roll for a festival), but it's all been healthy stuff. I did have a half slice of banana bread last night as I had my monthly cravings and it could've been worse.

Went a long walk on Friday, gym on Saturday then out Saturday night where I enjoyed myself on slimline tonic water - who knew staying sober could be fun. I even drove so saved us taxi money/sore feet (me) from walking. Have a couple of nights/days out this weekend but do you know what, I am staying sober cos I'm not wasting my money by drinking. I've already lost a couple of pounds, according to my scales anyway so need to keep on the right track.

Well back to work tomorrow so off to enjoy a bit more of the sun.

First day back at work hasn't been too bad, only got tomorrow to go then off til next Tuesday, so all good. Mum got me a mobile top up today, and I discovered a woman at work is selling her daughter's hens eggs for £1 for six, so £11 spent today.

Three weeks since becoming debt free and still scrutinising my spreadsheet, I guess it means I can see if I'm slipping backwards. Wedding savings coming along nicely, dentist/cruise too but means can't really save anything extra at all. House doesn't sound like it's going to work out, don't want to keep pushing OH to find out about it. Doesn't stop me looking up other houses for sale even though we can't really afford one right now (unless it was a steal). Probably wise to not over-stretch ourselves and go for being in a new house this time next year.

Evening all, was off work today and what a great start to the long weekend!

Got two pieces of 'pound' news - firsty, was at the dentist today and the price he told me is correct so I have shaved £500 of the budgetted money for my crowns, thought was getting impressions done today only - nope, I'm sitting here with 4 temporary teeth in and my mouth has been in agony since the numb stuff wore off.

Also, was at my second PT session tonight, it was very tough but has made me even more determined as I have lost 6lbs :j:j

I weighed myself at work on Tuesday and thought I had lost around 4lbs, but it's actually 6. I'm really pleased and it's making me even more determined to see it through. Had a venison burger for breakfast, which was quite strange but also tasty, but if eating strange foods is good, I'm all for it.

Also booked my beauty stuff for the wedding, £62 for make-up (£15 trial on top of the £62), false eyelashes, eyelash tint and gel nails, thought that was a bargain.

Got a quote for flowers too, £107 for six vases, two buttonholes, my bouquet and neice's, I thought that was ok and would save me having to try and get matching flowers from the supermarket which was the original plan. That would still have came to at least £50 plus I'd have had to buy thistles as well, so maybe £60 but the stress makes the florist a better choice.

Well have a great long weekend everyone, will hopefully be up a big hill tomorrow away from any tv's :D

Great news on 6 lb off :j
    Was that in a wek?

Flowers sound like a great deal & as you say much less stress.

Good news on £££'s for dentist but eek to the pain.

    Enjoy your weekend.

That was in two weeks of following the plan Beanie! The first few days I was still eating bread and real potatoes etc., as I had stuff to use up but would still say two weeks seen the 6lbs come off. Have only been to him for a session twice and been to Body Pump twice and the boxing once I think, also been walking though too. Hoping to get down to 9 stone exactly, not looking for anything less, so another 8 lbs to go.

Great day in Edinburgh yesterday, it was funny sitting in a pub with a cup of tea though, but I had a great time nonetheless.

Have a great rest of the weekend everyone x
