Morning (very early one for me), not usually up at this time but was a wee bit in pain last night after the dentist so was in bed at 10pm. I know, on a Friday night as well. Had alarm set for quarter to eight anyway but decided to seize the day and get up.

It's quite a nice day today so once go and see house/mortgage advisor we'll come back home and OH has footie to watch, and I'll see what else I can do in the house.

Bathroom, bedroom and kitchen are all looking hunkydory, the kitchen is the best it's EVER looked actually, so pleased with that. Just need to declutter livingroom but until the boxes I've already packed are taken to my sister's, can't do too much else. The guy never turned up about the fence yesterday so think we'll try and dig around the post and pour cement in then cover with soil. Should (fingers crossed) be ok unless there are any major storms forecast. Really need to de-weed the garden as well, it's quite a simply maintained garden but the weeds have fairly sprouted, even through the black ground stuff under the chips, weird.

Anyway breakfast of venison grillsteak and poached egg awaits so better get a move on. Have a great weekend everyone x

Well peeps, you know that house WE were buying, well it was very nearly just ME that was buying it....

So, goes to the engagement party on Saturday night, and out came the buffet. I wasn't sure what to eat but when cousin (PT) told me 'it's Saturday night, eat what you want', I duly piled my plate up. As it was paper plates I thought I'd leave OH to come and get his own. Anyway, he was sitting across from me talking to my sister's bf and I just happened to look up and see OH with his hand over his mouth - now he does this when he's going to sneeze so I didn't think anything of it. Until I looked a second later and seen his eyes rolling - he was only flipping choking. I mean, seriously choking on something.

I jumped up but couldn't get out my seat so I literally pushed it over so I could get out and ran round to do the old back slapping thing, I had also shouted that he was choking but of course because he's my OH, I started panicking. Shouted on my sister who tried as well but then my cousin (PT) ran over and as he had more force, he managed to dislodge the food. It was a flipping big piece of turkey meat that he couldn't get cut so just stuffed it in, it must have opened up in his mouth.

I was literally shaking and poor OH was really embarrassed as everyone was asking if he ok. Of course I couldn't eat anymore, so diet is still going strong, but I almost fell out with OH later as he kept drinking and I was saying he should'nt have drank as much as if the same thing had happened when he was drunk, it could've ended badly. Thank goodness he's ok though.

We're still buying the house though!

    Me again, honest opinion required.

I currently have a black leather 3 and 2 seater which I've had for 8.5 years, the 2 seater has hardly had a bum on it. My sister wants black leather so was going to ask her to make me an offer - a low offer but not free as we still need to buy something else.

Anyway the question hasn't much to do with the above, but that's the background. The house we are buying currently has a large 2 seater and two chairs in cream and they look great in the livingroom, so we'd probably go for cream to go with the decor (and we have no kids running around), I think that two 2-seaters would go, mainly because the price of a single chair is almost as much as a 2-seater. I've found someone who is selling two 2-seater cream sofas for £150 and they look great, they are also from an affluent area and the house looks very swish - would you snap them up if you were like me and trying to save money? Actually the answer would probably be yes, as we're all here for the same reason. Sorry, I'm havering now. We'd only need the cost of a van, we could take mines to sister and get new ones and put them in my house til needed and my sister could get mines for the same price (had originally thought maybe £200 - £250 from her). *goes away to ponder further*

Well (pardon the pun), it's not a case of 'sofa, so good', more like no sofa, no good!

Had no reply about the ad for the two sofas, either they have been sold or they are no longer selling. I just wish people would take ads off or update the person replying that they are gone. Oh well, it was worth a try.

Still waiting on someone to do my Home Report and I'm starting to panic about not getting the house on the market ASAP! Any better go, peeps about.

    * tumbleweed alert*

Not been very good at keeping my diary up to date, got too many other things on my mind at the moment.

Home report was done on Friday but will be Tuesday before I see it due to bank hol, hoping will be up for sale by the end of the week. Diet going badly, had a major sugar craving this weekend due to boredom (OH standby) and ended up making caramel apple granny, which wasn't great but had loads of sugar so done me to a tee. Feel like I've put the whole 9lbs on again.

Thinking distractions are called for, but apart from tv and MSE (which are both free) I can't think of anything which will stop me eating. Got a few days off in June and hoping to get away from it all. Bah work tomorrow but hey ho guess that can count as a distraction. Night.

My wee house is on the market :j:j:j

Got piccies done yesterday, home report was as expected and house is on offer for £3K more than the minimum I'd be prepared to accept - unless I start to panic and end up giving it away.

Fingers and toes crossed for some viewings and a quick sale, trying to be positive and visualise people coming to view and someone going away to think, then accepting an offer. I've even decided on leaving a nice bunch of flowers and a 'good luck in your new home' card for the new owner(s). My house is lovely and will sell easily and quickly.......

No other news, except have a couple of days off mid June so myself and OH are going oop north to Fort William and Mallaig for a much needed short-break. It was a year ago we were in Portugal and another 5 months til the honeymoon, a break is much needed. Have booked two B&B's for our 3 night stay, can't wait.

Also, got PT tonight and I (think) I've lost more weight, maybe a lb or 2, been going twice a week since last week but have also missed body pump, so who knows. Not sure can afford to do many more sessions after these ones run out, but then again maybe I can't afford not to. Still have a bit of time before the dress fitting/wedding and as much as I've lost weight, it could easily creep back on. If I book another 12 sessions, that will take me to the week before my fitting and I will probably be run ragged after that so hoping to keep weight steady.

Well another week almost over, can't believe it's June already
