just dropped by to say well done on the weight loss. I have shifted precisely zero since i last posted SIGH. though there are some mitigating circumstance - bereavement etc. But really must get on track.
hope your house sells soon. Is the housing market still slow over there?

Hi Lula, Urg and Chev,
Well my weight loss joy may be short lived. Have eaten, not badly, but maybe too much over the weekend and feel very bloated and methinks may have put on weight. It's amazing to see where I've went wrong, I know for a fact I ended up having a latte everyday since last Wednesday so that's five lattes (only two being skinny ones), had pasta for lunch today even though had food in for lunches, just couldn't be bothered making it this morning. Also consumed two pieces, yes two, of dumpling, yum and a small tin of rice last night.
Mmmm, I don't know if I can use the excuse of flo being due this time, ha. Must get back on track and eat better. A guy in work asked me if I'd lost weight and said I was looking great, was quite elated but as I don't feel great right now, the elation was short-lived.
Been quite a stressful and busy weekend with mortgage guy etc. Sorted our mortgage protection insurance but of course because OH is diabetic it will probably not be as cheap as we were quoted. Ins co have to contact doc.
Still no action on the house, although must remember it's only been on the market since Thursday, time is ticking though and as it's been a few weeks since our offer was accepted, I'm sure the person buying mines will have the same delays. Was going to buy my good luck card at the weekend but maybe that's too presumptious. Must keep positive I guess.
ETA: Sorry to hear about your bereavement Chev x0 -
Afternoon,
I'm starting to drive myself crazy going over my 'old budget' and 'new house budget' spreadsheet, feels like I'm ploughing back into debt again, argh!!! It will all work out well WHEN my house sells, but in the meantime I feel like a hamster on a wheel, just going over the same old stuff and feeling like my money management is way out of control.
Once myself and OH pool our money for the new house it'll be fine, but I'm panicking I'm not going to be able to afford everything whilst still paying my own mortgage. And breathe.....0 -
Ahem, great gym session tonight BUT I put 2lbs on, boo!
Ok, so the lattes, dumpling, rice, sweetcorn, pasta - you can see the pattern here i.e. carbs have all contributed to my weight gain. I really need to get more organised and sort lunches, snacks and dinners. I was good and had a nice chicken salad today and dinner was ok too, turkey stir-fry. Need to tell OH though not to give me sweetcorn, infact think I had sweetcorn and some rice at the weekend.
Time to get sorted as can only afford another 12 sessions to maintain my weight, if I can lose some more it will be a bonus. I'm going to miss Thursday so I can have my last two sessions on the 14th and 21st of June, the my next session around 28th June after pay-day. If all goes to plan that is. Going to have a cuppa with some tv and head to bed, probably should make lunch first though eh.0 -
Hi Swinstie,
Sorry to hear about the weight gain. Don't get too disheartened as you have so well so far. You also know where you went wrong so can hopefully avoid it.

Thanks urg, it's weird last week I felt like I had lost weight and I did, this week I felt like I had put on and I had, so at least my body is telling me. Just need to bring it back on track, although when we go away next weekend we'll be eating out more so dreading it a wee bit.
Got myself a bargain on Tuesday (well my sister did - although she booked it for herself and bf), a spa day with half hour facial and choice of 1hr long massage and an alfresco dinner with a glass of wine - all for £29 each (I'm taking mum for her birthday/belated mother's day present). It's only five mins from my house as well. Bargain.
2 NSD's the last two days (the above doesn't count as I paid via paypal), ha. Need petrol today so need to go at lunch-time or I risk not getting home tonight.
Still no word on any viewings, and of course I'm getting negative comments in work which is really not helping me stay positive. How long does it take before you get a 1st viewing? Just one viewing to make me feel better would be good - pleeeeeeeease.0 -
