Hello diary (and SG, Beanie, urg, Mrs GG - nice to see you back and Abcynthia - I do remember you posting - oops still haven't ebayed yet).

Well, thought I'd pop in with a wee update (also, cos I miss my diary), house move happened last weekend and was the most chaotic and stressful time EVER! I thought I'd be organised and pack loads of stuff weeks ago but still had loads to do and was literally chucking things in boxes at the last minute. I also didn't label ANY boxes so you can imagine the laugh I had trying to find my clothes/bed sheets etc., only to come across countless boxes full of [STRIKE]total crap[/STRIKE] my other treasured possessions. Still a tonne of boxes to be sorted through.

The week before the move, I also got excited to get a viewer for my house, it was to rent it rather than buy though, BUT, it has now been rented out, woo hoo. It's a young couple and they've already said maybe down the line they might be interested in buying, fingers crossed.

Wedding plans going ok, only half made my invites but as it's 11 weeks tomorrow, I better get a move on. Diet going badly as I've been eating everything in sight :o. Going to PT tonight, only have 6 sessions left and he'll need to get the industrial scales in for the weigh in.

Will pop in with some updates as they happen but still quite busy.

P.S. Your congrats were too late Mrs GG - we're in debt again, but it's good debt now :D

    Hey Swinstie!

So many changes. It sounds like everything is falling into place. Well done!

I can understand the eating - I doubt you've had much time to organise your meals etc.

I can't believe the wedding is so close by! It's coming around quickly - come on love - get a move on!!!!

  • Sounds like everything is heading in the right direction. I LOVE a wedding ! Try and enjoy the planning and try not to compromise too much for other people as its too common that weddings end up being less about the happy couple and more about the guests.

    Dear Diary,

Nice to see everyone who has posted recently, well ahem in August, oops! Great to see you Rupe, not been on the Blondie thread for ages as it got so quiet, really should try and catch up though.

Well, it's 5 weeks or is that :eek::eek: on Friday til the wedding, gulp! I finally got round to finishing the invites, however there is currently about 15 invites still to actually send between myself and OH, NEED to get them out this week as the reply by date is 21st Oct. Was at my uncle's 60th last Saturday and got a few verbal rsvp's (my family are quite cheap, ha) so at least I know the bus will be used. Some of the still to send invites are for the bus so I think I will just get a quote to hire one big enough incase everyone goes. We're 17 people over the recommended amount for the venue, thought we'd over-invite so if people didn't come, we didn't look like Billy and Belinda No-Mates :D

Some of the guys will no doubt frequent the bar so should be ok.

OH's stag do is in Newcastle at the end of October and I have my lodge weekend (just family) the week before the wedding, however we have just arranged to have me a Hag Night :D woo hoo! I work with loads of guys so instead of a Hen Night, it's a Hag (hen/stag) night, brilliant eh!

Got final fitting before alterations next Thursday and diet hasn't been good. Still trying, still gyming it but not lost anymore weight, just trying to maintain right now but if a few pounds could be lost that would be great.

Well enough of my wedding drivel, hope everyone is well and hope to be back soon, miss the support from on here!

    Hi all,

The clock is tick tick ticking and I've got so much to do that I don't know if I'm coming or going! Went to pick OH up from the pub last night and one of guys asked (OH) if everything was organised for the wedding - cue OH nodding, 'yes everything is pretty much done', eh wait a minute but who did this wonderful organising and got no credit for it, moi of course. Although OH did go and get his kilty outfit sorted for him and the bestman, but until I see him on the day I won't be convinced as I can't picture what he said he picked. We seen some of the outfit when we took my nephew to get his but not wearing it IYSWIM.

I am getting so worried and paranoid about everything, especially his stag do. With him being diabetic, I SO hope that no-one decides to put him on a bus anywhere, him on a bus with no insulin spells BIG trouble. Have already told him that he can go to the strippers (cos I know they will anyway) but absolutely no hookers allowed.

I'm apparantly to be dressed up for my hag do, a few of the guys have made suggestions, ahem! I can see me donning a boiler suit and hard hat and there is already talk of signs saying 'do not interfere with this apparatus'. All me needs is a 'tache and I'm sorted.....

Debt busting is waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyy off the radar, after putting the honeymoon on my Visa the minimum payment is now £107, gulp!!! Got good vibes from my ex neighbours though about the tenants in my house, they said they seem really happy there and are loving it, so fingers crossed they renew their lease then eventually buy. Sooner rather than later would be nice but at least the mortgage is still getting paid for now. Debt has risen way more than I started my MSE journey with, but it's between two instead of just being mines and the bulk was deposit money. Got til next July to pay it back so a house sale would be fab around this time, otherwise a loan might be needed which we don't want.

Well better go get some work done before home-time. Hope everyone is well and got through my blabbering post.

ETA Will update siggy soon, but I am technically still debt free - personal debt is gone but joint debt alas has not!
