    Evening all,

Feels like I've not much else to say on here cos I'm not debt busting, but having been looking on ebay tonight I can see I'm better off on here, it's ok not bought anything, honest!

Was looking at my spreadsheet again today, must get out of that habit pronto. I did make one purchase today, went to Tesco and got three boxes (wasn't sure if two would be enough) of Thornton's Classics, £12 down to £6, think that was a good price anyway. They have a date of 31/12/11, so going to use them as my favours, already bought the boxes so will put 4 or 5 chocs in each. Dying to see how much is in them but scared to open a box incase I eat any. Although funnily enough haven't been craving many sweet things recently.

Also got some whoopsied smoke haddock loins, £3.80 down to £1.33, got a surprise as it was two huge pieces, was only expecting one. One for dinner with sweet potato, beetroot and veg, and the other one is in the freezer. Need to try and eat more fish. So £27ish spent in Tesco, £18 was for the sweets so money comes out the wedding fund. Well must go and watch a bit more tv, down to 26 hours on the V+ box, eek!

Sounds tasty :) I sometimes use smoked fish to make a kedgeree (spelling?) with long grain rice, fish, soft boiled eggs, leeks, carrots and lots of herbs to make it tasty without whacking in lots of salt or fat!

Good idea re. favours - when are you getting married again? Our big day is on the 24th of September and because we're tying the knot abroad we don't have to prepare a lot of the little things like that. Which is very liberating on the one hand, but a little disconcerting on the other as you have to just trust the organisers a lot :o

    Morning,

OH text me this morning to say its supposed to be the warmest day of the year so far today, eh I think he meant the wettest. It's not stopped raining since I left the house almost an hour ago.

Legs feeling a little better, wasn't going to go to the boxing gym tonight but tbh I'm scared to text my cousin to say I can't go - he's not a coach for nothing, he doesn't take any sh*it, but if I can manage to go that's me for a few days as got the venue to see on Saturday so will miss body pump then. Also going to OH's on Friday and cousin not at boxing anyway then. So I'll have a few days off.

Feeling quite virtous having been exercising four times this week.

Spends will be £2 tonight and petrol money if I go at lunch time, could potentially make it home tonight then back to work tomorrow before I need petrol. If this rain keeps up I'll be going nowhere at lunch-time. I'm going to watch the pennies this month until I get a 'proper' price from the dentist. If it's cheaper than I budgetted for then I can relax a wee bit.

Kedigree sounds yum, I've made a smoked haddock rice dish before, can only remember it had rice, peas and flaked smoked haddock but it was delish.

Well I did open the chocs...... but I didn't eat any, which I'm fairly surprised about. 46 in each box so two boxes would've been enough. Will probably just put the rest out on a nice plate for the buffet instead of scoffing them - the box is rather big so wouldn't subject them to my sisters who are all trying to lose weight too. Wedding is November edinburgher so you'll be a married by then. Where are you going abroad? I remember you saying that was the plan but can't remember where.

Had a 'fight' with the hand woman this afternoon, was mostly my fault actually but she waved her hand at me again so I couldn't help myself. We're talking again so all forgotten - I think the lack of sugar is affecting me more than I thought.

Sunny Zante (it had better be). Should point out that with current TV progs about chavvy weddings in Greece it will hopefully be a fairly dignified affair :D

You're going to have to explain that one for those of us who came late to the party!

Ah the hand-woman, where do I start....

New woman who is working with me, ok most of the time but when she is busy and I go to talk to her she puts her hand up to me to sssh me but not in a 'sorry I'm busy, ask me later', more in a 'I'm busy f~eck off way, she has very nearly had her arm ripped from her body and beaten with it but of course I'm much too nice to do that.

My fault yesterday but it's all sorted now and we're 'talking' again, she's off tomorrow thank the lord.

Well, boxing last night was quite brutal, he keeps changing it up which is good and my legs aren't as sore today. Had my gloves on punching the punch bag - you can imagine whose face I was punching, ha! Quite enjoyed it but might not be there til next Wed, going to see PT on Monday and cousin said might be better to go see him 'fresh' instead of having worked out. He measures fat and stuff, eek!

£30.90 spend today, £30 on petrol and 90p on a pack of snack a jacks and a pint of milk but going to be tight the rest of the month. Two weeks til pay-day and I should get my 1st aid payment though so every little helps.

Change of plans for the weekend though so it could be spendy. OH coming down tomorrow night so need to find something for dinner, he paid for the take-away a couple of weeks ago so it's my turn (as I forgot to give him half the money) and I don't like not paying my way - maybe it would be easier just to do that actually, been feeling quite virtuous all week. A nice indian, no naan or chips or pakora allowed though, would be lovely.

Then I'm up to his on Saturday to go see the venue again, he's standby just hope he's not called out whilst we're there. Then at his all day Sunday so looks like tonight will be spent doing my housework. House is gleaming so only needs a quick going over.

Can't remember if I mentioned the bites I'd been getting?! About 10 days ago, I woke up with a few bites on my ankles, had left a window open and think something got in, anyway nothing for a week then this morning I woke with 8 bites on my thighs, they looked really fresh so I had a good look around, found the bu88er on top of my quilt so it got taken down. Makes my skin crawling just thinking about it, hope it was the only one. I'm now left with really itchy legs, actually quite sore right now.

Sounds like a right piece of work. My OH also has a problem colleague - employed for a few hours a week but tries to lord it over OH (who out-ranks her and should essentially be using problem colleague as a secretary to organise the ridiculous amount of work trips OH has to do!) OH stood her ground in an argument with her a few weeks back and said problem colleague (one of these 'fragile' types) stormed out of the office for an hour and keeps making snide comments :( Oh the nonsense we have to go through to earn a wage....

    What was biting you?!
