I got wrapping paper from Asda for 3p a roll, only the cheap stuff but for the DS's it really doesn't stay on that long anyway!!!! and a Per Una gift set to put away for a present, I always keep a list of people I need to buy for on my phone as I always have it with me and then I can check it if I see any bargains when I am out against the names to see if its suitable for anybody.0

What a great thread.
First plan is to go through all the stuff I already have and organise a birthday and Christmas box. Housing Units normally have some gorgeous decs in their sale and ours are really on their last legsStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
Working hard to get rid of our debt.0 -
Our local Barnardos has Christmas card packs for 19p - some were previously £3.99 a pack. Their birthday cards (single) are also marked 19p. Got a calendar for 49p which has lovely drawings by kids for each month.

I was in boots today some reduced crackers and cards there but dident have time to see how much as was in hurry.
Weirdly did spend 5pound and got 2 5pound no7vouchers.
They seem to do them a lot so thinking start collecting no 7products to go in nice makeupbag for mam next year as sometimes least twice a year you spend 15quid and get set free too.
Wasent really that much in sales that caught my eye.
Not sure if they will make any more reductions.pad by xmas2010 £14,636.65/£20,000::beer:

Each year I buy Asda's Extra Special Christmas puddings - currently priced at £1 & save them for the next Christmas. You will not taste a better pudding - it becomes very moist with the alcohol & fruits maturing. It might save pennies but piles on the pounds ha ha!0

I went into The Card Factory yesterday and brought boxed sets of cards for 50p and a large individual boxed card (for Husband) for £1! Really chuffed! Also got the Christmas pud from Asda last week - paid £2.25 for the large extra special one which was delicious this year, and luxury crackers from Somerfield for £3.75 for 6 . Dont think I will be getting any wrapping paper as its quite difficult to store I think without knocking the edges.lovin' this site!

I cut right back this year and used up everything i had here to make presents etc and will be doing the same this year, but after advice too Ive decided to get the older children vouchers and wondered how i can save some money when buying them? is there anyway of having discount off vouchers????? Or wishful thinking? Thanks x:A :j0

Have a look on ebay for vouchers. You won't save much, but eg, £10 book tokens usually go for around £8. It all adds up.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D
