Wilkinsons have some good sale bargains.
They have jars of various sauces, eg: cranberry, horseradish, tartare and mint, all half price (about 40p now I think).
Also have 3m rolls of extra wide foil (for turkeys lol) half price, now about 49p.
I saw lots of boxes of chocs eg: Bendicks mints, Thorntons toffee/fudge, pretzels etc. all half price.0 -

I have been trying to get a nice fake tree for ages, but they are always too expensive.
This year I got the threadbare one out again and put it in my black and white hallway. Even the hubby agreed it had seen better days.
I wanted a trendy black one to go with the hallway, but could I justify it if we decorated and changed the colour scheme - no!
However, B&Q had a massive range of Christmas decs still left. I didn't like the black one, so intead I have bought a lovely cream coloured one (6ft) with a whole stack of black decs to put on it and even some very trendy thin tinsel and black bead chains. Absolutely loads of decs and the tree all for less than £15.
I'm delighted and hubby happy with my colour scheme, because of the cost.
Can't wait til next year now to put it all up!! :T0 -
I always buy my cards (especially the family ones) after Christmas. Paper too, and got some decorations in Tesco for 20p each. I put everything away with the decorations, then I get it all out on the 1st December.I Believe in saving money!!!:T

We didn't eat the ones we got for Christmas just gone! :rotfl:
Or the cake, come to think of it.
And only remembered the mince pies yesterday.
Is it obvious we don't have a sweet tooth?0 -
I bought two top hampers from Marks & Spencer - both half price! So spent £200 but saved £200 and got a beautiful large black leather box and a black whicker basket with all the goodies inside. Just have to munch my way through two Christmas cakes now... :snow_laug0
