Bought another one which I'll leave boxed up ready for our house move in the spring. Did our mattresses with it too and it brought loads out. Done our carpets 3 times now and they look so much better than before

not sure if leaving the machine in the box is a good idea, you might want to test it works first

I've plugged it in to check that it switches on ok, so hopefully it'll be fine, but it's easier to transport still in the box so fingers crossed!
  • Bought one of these and put it together yesterday which was really easy. Lovely vacuum... very well priced at £39.99.... excellent buy. Would recommend even if you haven't got a pet!!! :T

I have one, noisy but fantastic hoovers. Manages to deal with the fluff from six cats perfectly.

    Mine's not noisy ?!!!;)

    Thank you OP.

I didn't get the upright one but the cylinder one which was the same price.

Looking forward to trying it out with all the good reviews it's had!

I bought one of these too, brilliant hoover, but very noisy. Chuffed with it though, cant go wrong for that price
  • Does anyone have to relace filters on this? I have the pet one from the essntials range (vax), but am constantly having to fork out for new filters - if this one is better; I will get one

Bought one whilst out today. Not tested it yet but it has good reviews here and on the Argos site. £40 is worth the risk.

    Thanks OP

hi is everyone still happy with their vax? I need a new vacuum and was thinking about getting this one. I have had 2 vaxs in the past 8 months and both broke down in a short space of time.
Does the filter clog and cause reduced suction? Does it have a very strong exhaust which blows the dogs hair about?

    TIA
