I honestly can't imagine why they would want 35,000 refunds and cancellations to process for no profit and to damage their reputation this way.
Why would any company want to do this?

They have also probably hacked off their 3rd party supplier (Virgin) and cost them some hassle too in stopping the orders.

No, I think it's incompetance rather than deliberate.
It's not a cheap or efficient way to harvest details.

Money out of account today. Status on Very now says order being processed !st class post!!!!!!!!!!!! Not getting hopes up as I guess it could be the cancellation letter!

I ordered 2 hot air balloon flights separately a few days ago and then emailed Very asking if they could combine the orders and refund one of the delivery charged.

I have today had an email back confirming they will combine the orders and refund one of the delivery charges!

It seems like they still don’t really know what they are doing
