I think once they have debited the money they are in a weaker position legally.

    I don't think they are.
A contract is formed on despatch in this case.
If you know different please post up your legal research as I'm sure there are thousands of people wanting to see it.
I've seen no other legal research other than mine so far (I've checked distance selling, unfair contracts, B&Q, Pixmania etc.) and my conclusion if "NO DEAL".
I invite any other legal research but so far no-one's put any forward.

Try not to let it irritate you. Just ride the wave baby.
  • dont ring up very.. i rang them up before about a glitch and i got no help at all its just some silly person who has no idea about anything so they just read out what you can already see on your account while you sit there paying for the premium line to listen to what you already know!
Who would say I couldn't make you mine? You were mine since th' beginning of time. Who would say we were far apart? You ever reside in the core of my heart?

if you click on the 'sign in/register' link at the top of the page, you should be able to put in your email address, password and postcode. then you can track your order. :)

i think they ask for your account number if you click on the 'my account' link.

I placed an order yesterday morning and provided debit card details to pay and most definitely did not request a credit account. The order has now mysteriously vanished from my account! I don't have a problem with this - you win some, you lose some. BUT....I'm incredibly annoyed to see that they have set up a credit account with a £750 limit for me. I neither asked for, nor wanted this!!

Complain - ask then to send you a copy of the credit agreement.
  • I placed an order with Marshallward, around 1pm yesterday. I didnt receive a comfirmation email, i checked my account and all it says is being proccessed, no parcels showing etc. But ive just this minute received my comfirmation email, logged back on to my account and parcels are there and now showing as proccessed and click to track, so maybe there is hope after all.
