YES Terry!! I have had that far more since quitting than before. Some of it can be age-related, a lot having stopped smoking, I'm sure. A lot depends on how much/little exercise we get too, try to do a fair bit per day Terry, but not overdo it.
Such times when you have it...stand up and bend the affected leg, then take the other leg off the floor and allow all your weight to be taken by the affected leg while raising and lowering it. Do that for a few minutes and you'll find it much better.
This works for hubby too, so give it a go and all the best with saying tata to it!!
Be back later folks, must cut a dash.

It doesn't matter!
Another time it may only last 2 days or on the other hand, next time might be for good.
Give up when is good FOR YOU!!
Well done for recognising that you need to, tho."Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -

A very warm welcome to o2bfree, Dazi and Missymoo! Somebody else I think but can't see from here. Part Mouse too.
You'de done it for soooo long so you know you CAN do it again. Take it a day at a time and whatever put you off last time, don't let it do so again - PLEASE??!
Though Missymoo is there a reason why you're keen to use E-cigs to quit? They can be a bit controversial as they carry on mimicking the 'hand to mouth' action which all too often brings folk back to smoke. Try to use something else as a 'dummy' for the early days.
Stamina. I have to agree with Maz, it's so much to do with timing AND the individuals. The folk that usually find it as easy as you are men....but not always! Thanks a lot for trying to help though and you never know, you may well have helped someone on ther way with your post!
Dazi, I've got to admit that I'd have been miffed at the appointments clerk/receptionist too after wht the nurse had said. Is it possible to ring through and speak to her personally to see if you can alter it?? For now though be proud of the support from family and friends, it's worth so much...AND I'm proud of YOU too as what you're doing takes guts and determination and YOU have both!!!
BTW, mourning is the perfect term to use after so many of us stop, but think about it, they've been your friend (albeit a bally awful friend) for years and seen you through so many times since you started on them. See the part I put about it in the PM I've sent you and see if it makes sense. Grieving is all about loss.... but you're losing nothing by quitting - quite the contrary in fact - as you now start to GAIN so much...firstly your LIFE!!!! :j

Marvellous news on being FREE for over a week, Terry or rizla!!! BTW Which name do you prefer??? :undecided
Sue xx
Brilliant news Maz....stay strong and whatever you do - keep going and stay strong!!! :T

That is soooo good to hear about your OH, kaytee!!! You're really doing marvellously! Don't worry too much about the new lady - she may even be better, but at the end of the day it's YOU whose doing this not her!!! Stay strong whatever happens! :T:T:T
Sue xx
Hugs to everyone and keep strong and determined all the way through this terrific journey you've undertaken - there's no other quite like it!!

I hope no one minds me saying this but I am the e-cig guru on here.....
Different things work for different folks. I know people who've successfully transitioned overnight and are now reducing the mg/ml of e-liquid they use. I know of other 'dual fuelers' who part smoke/part vape?
Personally I'm still hooked on the nasal spray - thought it would be just for a few days but you can't use the e-cig everywhere cos folk think you're smoking... So use that and get it wherever I can cheapest..
My e-cig costs about £25 a week all in (including nasal spray) - £15 a week if you exclude that compared to £45 smoking roll ups...
best sites are http://ukvapers.com which is an info site and google 'all about e-cigarettes' (sorry if I've spelt that wrong) which will also help you decide which one to try. Ask as many questions as you need to before you buy. Knowledge is power. No one will mind. These are info sites though there are some wee vendors on there. all about e-cigarettes also has discount codes for places like Cloud 9 vaping and liberty flights and a few others. Handy.
Whatever you do don't buy from tesco or somewhere - complete waste of money. Nor buy an e-lite if you are serious about it. the Tornado is on offer right now (or was) from Totally wicked and should last or start with a Riva or like an e-v1 (from UK vapers - his name is ref50. Handmade in the UK and I took mine backpacking and it was fab)...
So yeah ask me as many questions as you like but seriously you are better going on the forums (the e-cig forums) as I'm not always around to give a very speedy answer

Phew, what a day.
Craved like mad all day and really want to smoke. But I haven't given in but have eaten everything in sight!!
Also extremely tearful and in a can't be bothered mood.
Hope I can shake it off soon.
