    3 weeks £256.85 Not spent on cigs:eek:

A very good morning to one and all. Made it to the 3 week mark. My BH has just announced on FB that this is him on his first day of no smoking, so hopefully that will make things easier :j:j:j:j

Woke up this morning absolutely gasping for a smoke. The wee man needs an emergency docs appointment for a kidney infection, whilst I have an appointment about my JSA. Blah, 2 places at once, no problem!

Onwards and upwards as they say.

ani - Day 1 complete? Don't be scared to use a wee bit of NRT if you need it. Still gonna be better than failing in ur quest. I'll take all the help I can get :rotfl:

davesdaughter: :T:T:T:T Well done for not letting the stress get to you!

Big thank you to all the former smokers popping in to encourage us newbies :T:T:T:T

    Whoopee!

    One Week Completed!

Yesterday was one of the worst but I guess that because it was Sunday and too hot to do much but I did go to a party Sat night and drank my first alcohol without the weed and got thru that OK.

Anyway, one day at a time Eh?

Good luck and well done to all, esp Ani with whom I shared the passion for roll-ups.

The art and ritual of MAKING your own fag is now a thing of the past, along with the satisfaction of smoking it and choosing a small one or a fat one depending on when & where.

    But they still kill ya!!

    :)

Eurgh - Just put on a perfume that i bought on sale. Can't believe I actually liked the smell of it when I was a smoker. Smells so much stronger and not as nice now. Gonna have to open the bottle of Monsoon pink stuff and make sure I still like that too now.

Had some retail therapy with my non smoking sister today, treated myself to a few bits n pieces with the money I haven't spent on smokes :j:j:j:j:j Got some nice wee tops n cardi's all with a whopping 30% off thanks to a friend's staff discount :T:T:T

  • A rather handsome man came to fix my oven this afternoon, but oh my goodness, the smell of fags on him was awful and I didn't even get that close!!! Did I smell like that??

O2bfree - Well done for making it this far. Do drop in here regularly. You will receive some fantastic support and encouragement.

ani - I hope you made 24 hours. Keep it up. :T

rizla - congratualtions on your 1 week! :TI've avoided alcohol since stopping smoking. Fags and booze just seem to go together so well. :beer:Since I've stopped smoking and drinking I don't know what to do with myself in the evenings - I'm so glad I've found this thread!

maz - 3 weeks!! :jI am so pleased for you. And good for you for treating yourself! You deserve it!

Thank you everyone for helping to make the process of becoming smoke free more bearable.

(Sorry I wasn't there when you acheived that but decided to celebrate my 1 week with a day out at Clacton.
