I'm still thinking of you drsum, I know it's a stressful for you but it's not long now before you see the consultant, at least then you'll know just what's what and how you move on. Remember though, just another worth worrying about, so chin up and look to the future just as soon as you're able. Meanwhile very well done indeed for the way you've coped without giving in to the blessed fags, you've done yourself and be sure to tell your consultant with the success to date! BTW, we all wish we'd never ever lit our first fag, but we can all move forward from here.

Hi again fantasia! It's good to see you back again and trying hard to beat it, you'll get there! Many people complain about feeling lethargic whereas many people are thrilled about the renewed energy they have; for all different fantasia, I'm afraid it's as simple as that. However, it doesn't mean to say that things won't change once you've cleared your system of all the muck and rubbish. You've only recently had the chest infection so it's hardly any wonder that you are still coughing up phlegm, don't worry about it as really it's a good sign, so just keep on getting rid of it and you'll soon see the difference! The horrible taste is all linked try refreshing it with a little toothpaste in your mouth or you can try ice pops/poles to make it better for you. All best wishes fantasia and do let us know about the chest x-ray results.

Hi Kiwi, it's always good to see you and especially to know you're doing well.

Hi to you also Erme, it sounds as though the e-cigs are quite costly so let's hope you'll soon be able to ditch them and keep the money in your pocket!! Your doing darn well though and should be chuffed to bits with all the progress so far. Don't forget to treat yourself Erme.

All the very best in keeping up the great work everyone!

Knowing how doubly hard it is for you Erme, I am so over the moon that you're managing to stay of the smokes. :T Congratulations and big pat on the back for you.

Sounds very complicated and expensive all that e-cig stuff but sure you'll more than make up for the additional expense in the long-run. It's just these early days when it's really difficult

Batteries sorted - 4 off eBay (about a day's worth) for £10 :money:...far cheaper than some e-cig batteries

Had a very thin mild rollie last night with a friend (cos didn't have e-cig stuff on me) and it made me feel sick and dizzy. Didn't like it. Half way through I was wanting my e-cig...:)...got it later :)

Now I have to transition from part spray/part e-cig fully onto e-cig. Have a tonne of juice and I was really wanting the taste of a cig this am when I remembered I had 'virginia' flavoured juice from china..promptly mixed 5ml up (fortunately I sorted out the measurements for dilution like 2 days - phew) and put some in my favourite carts (chinese ones LOL)...sorted :D...

So yeah who would think I'm 5 days now...so many lovely friendly folk on the e-cig forums...If you are reading this and you think you can't quit L00K at me...5 days - 2 small rollies...e-cig (and this is someone who on other NRT gets psychotic!!!)...

and to make things nicer my manafont parcel to sell on eBay has just turned up :D...no customs ($50 worth :D)...yeppas...

and I can work my ECDL on this mac :) which I couldn't on the netback :T ...conclude notebooks are for teenagers :p

and I might have voluntary reception work coming up...

I also discovered yesterday my employment support worker is a Christian and she's more than happy to pray for me in crisis :J....I can't tell you as a christian how much that means. So now I have a christian GP and a Christian support worker :D....

So yeah panic MSE (late up ) before going to my graphic design class.

Yes the initial outlay for e-cig can be expensive but there are ways of making it cheaper and if anyone wants my links just PM me...The best bit of kit I have gotten in the past 6 months is my mod box (you can make these even cheaper..I don't like the idea of soldering stuff ) and my 801 steel carts from china :)

I desperately need to quit the ciggys. I have given up before for 2 1/ years then foolishly restarted again about 4 years ago.

It brought it home to me today that I really need to get rid of them. I got out of bed this morning and walked down stairs...i was out of breath. I walked to my friends.....I was out of breath. Ive just had a bath, got out and.....im out of breath.

I smoke between 20 and 40 a day!!! Its costing me a fortune.

Got the patches so I plan on tomorrow as my quit day.

Hi life in termoil and a warm welcome back! It's such a shame the break up of your marriage has thrown you, quite understandable for. Still, you've done this all before so you can definitely do it all again. As you know there's plenty of support you so please come on and chat to us whenever you need to, you'll always find friendly folk here. :D As you sound very out of breath why not visit the doctor as you may well have asthma, in which case he/she can help you.

All the very best wishes LIT.....you can do it and you know you can. ;)

Did you know you can get NRT on prescription. Okay so it's not for everyone but might help you save some pennies

    Me? I'm a week now :D....

Still a little worried about amount of spray am using. Know it's not an overdose and cos of sleep probs (maybe a slight overdose) I've reduced the sprays to use two (one in each nostril) per night from 6pm onwards..

Still need my double spray in the morning. Have reduced mg/ml already cos it's 16. something per 20ml of e-juice and I can't be bothered measuring the something...(or looking it up ala pc)....

So 16ml per 20ml is actually I think about 29mg (you work it out in percentages...I can't recall how off the top of my head)... but as I'm getting used to vaping and I can v-ape almost anywhere - I need less mg/ml :D

Now to make some v-ape cards :)

and I've found a really nice and friendly e-cig forum (PM me for details)
