    Morning.

I was gobsmacked to open the door this morning and see snow. Only a dusting though, but it's been enough to make the side roads slippy again.

I have to admit I was quite glad to get back to work yesterday. I love my boys, but I would make the Sh1test stay at home mum ever. And if I had to stay at home with OH all day, i'd end up banged up. I really can't take listening to him tell Alex No anymore, after days and days of hearing it.

I am also sure that OH has been talking to SS's hubby, as he too has been suffering with this Colitis and has been hiding it for over a week. (Only told me when we had run out of pain killers and he needed more.) This therefore explains his bouts of grumpiness. I have told him to go to the doctors today, but he won't listen because he knows better.:(

I know what you mean about rubbish days at home :rotfl: I'm going to be looking for a job if things carry on like this. I wanted to get some more qualifications first though.

I just realised OH left the pram in the car the other day, and he took the car to work this morning! He's going to finish work early and Squeak watch whilst I go lol.

K slept from 6:30pm - 7:00am with one wake up last night. Feel much better today whoop!

I hate it when they do that :o Hope he's better soon.

I'm taking the decorations off the tree today :( I'll probably take the beastie out for an airing as well in a while, she's still in her jammies right now because she's being "creative" with her sippy cup *hmph*

On the plus side, after my mammoth Next order only one item is still missing and it's a pair of trousers for me that I don't really need. Awesome.

SAHMing hasn't been as frustrating as I'd feared, possibly because I'm also studying so still have time to do my own thing and not just be Mamamamamaaaamaaaamaaaaaaaaaaa.

Hmmm, I sometimes feel a little stifled by being a SAHM - but mainly because I can't leave madam with anyone else for a decent amount of time. However, she is well behaved, doesn't touch things I tell her not to, eats what I give her and generally sleeps well. But I do miss the social interaction I had at work and the 'me' time. Oh, and everyone is 'Muuum'!! DH will say 'No, I'm Dad,' and she shouts 'Muum!' back to him!

Oh a quick Q - I'm going to my Aunts' retirement meal in a couple of weeks. I have a strapless A-line dress which has a bold black, white and turquoise pattern on it. It comes to just below the knee. I have just bought some turquoise heels to match. Would you wear tights? If so what colour? I am hopeless with style and have no clue! Thanks for any help :)

  • As long as the shoes were okay with tights I would wear black tights - maybe even fishnet :D

    These are the shoes.

  • They will go lovely with tights :D

Just check that the pattern on your dress and the pattern on your tights isn't too much together...I would normally keep patterned tights for a plainer fabric IYSWIM. But it depends on the 2 patterns *shrug*

I am sure you will be beautiful!

Hmm, you may be right. Dress has a large floral pattern but tights are zig-zag pattern - told you I was rubbish!

*goes off to hunt for fishnet tights*

    Ooh new thread!

Hello all, thanks all for congrats msgs for my Xmas engagement although with OH's recent behaviour I can't see a wedding happening, and the fact following this weekend I hate his mother even more :( sorry I'm so miserable today!

T is having terrible nights, feels like the last growth spurt hasn't long finished and now another. He is so awake and playful in the night. He has got terrible eczema atm which is infected on his face :( he keeps flailing his arms and rubbing his face so much he's making it worse, I've been swaddling him which works initially but when he wakes he gets upset he can't move and soon kicks it off.

    Hope everyones ok!
