mirror in anticipation for BF I bought some long sleeved t-shirts in primarni, they have buttons down the front and they pretty much go with everything, they had loads of different colours too, hope that helps.
EDIT although erm think they might have been pyjama tops thinking about it....:o0 -
Mirror, when I was BF I had some tops from H&M which I don't think were all that expensive but they were brilliant for feeding when out and about. They had a wrap effect front with a panel underneath so you pulled the top layer to one side and lifted the bottom layer up. They were in with the maternity stuff and quite roomy around the middle, but they still looked fine after the bump had gone.
ETA: These are they I also had some long-sleeved ones too, so possibly a better choice instore.
We've had torrential rain here today. I have a 250 mile round trip into the office tomorrow so I'm hoping it's going to clear up as I really wouldn't want to be driving in it.
I've got Joe a duvet and pillow now so we'll have to give that a go when I've got the covers washed. He does seem to like grabbing a cushion and resting his head on it when he's tired, so I think he'll quite like having a pillow. Those of you who use duvets for your littlies - do you use a sheet under the duvet as well, so there's something to tuck in?
I also want to get Joe a beanbag for when he's flopped in front of In the Night Garden (this being a very important part of our bedtime routine) Dunelm Mill seem to be the cheapest I can see online, so I'll have to have a wander over there sometime.

ooh just to add on the discount board they have voucher codes for h&m and managed to get a pack of two tops down from £19.99 to £4.99 with a half price code and a £5 off code.now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -
just a quick question, having just leaked through my bra and top yet again, i was wondering does this mean that baby will not get a full feed from that breast now? slightly random i know but i have time on my hands lol
and for those of you that do breastfeed do you alternate breasts from feed to feed or do you let bby have both breasts ie if they feed for 5 / 10 mins and stop then you do the nappy change etc ten mins later the want more do you change breast or keep to the same one.
i know wht i mean i hope yo do too lolnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -
LOL I think I get what you mean Mirror!
I'm not sure about the leaking question. With the alternating thing, I try to alternate breasts for each feed (if I can remember which one we're on) but as he's getting bigger he's feeding for about 10 mins on one, then having a wriggle and a bout of the hiccups and then feeding on the other for probably a bit longer...HTH
It's our first day without having Daddy at home today and we're having a great day! I've been dreading it tbh but I've got more done so far today than I have for the whole two weeks of his paternity leave :rotfl:0 -
To all you lovely mummies out there, I was wondering if you could give me some advice. For those of you whom are expressing, which breast pump have you got and which would you recommend? Also I was thinking of getting a swaddle blanket, again which one would you recommend as I am completely in the dark with these things.
Thanks a million

I didn't swaddle (probably should have done but missed the boat now) so can't help with that one but breast pump -we had the Avent electric one and it was great. I only expressed for 3 weeks but it was brilliant and very quick.Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -

Winnie - hope you're doing OK. I totally felt the same when OH went back to work. Now even though I like having the help and company at the weekends I do feel like he messes up the routine I've spent all week working onLeo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -
I only do one boob each time most the time. As she used to feed quite often i would offer the same one over a couple of hours to make sure she got enough of the fatty stuff.
I also have the avent electric pump and find it pretty good. I got it on offer at the baby show.
Poppy didn't like being swaddled so I didn't use a swaddle blanket.0 -
