I think DD1 is on a fast track to spending the rest of the day upstairs... OH took Squeak to drop some shoes off to my friend (her DD is a size or so behind the twins) and he said he might go to the park after... cue DD1 whinging because she hadn't gone and then starts screaming and shouting at me after I say I'll take them all later (I've been on a cleaning blitz this morning) right up to 'I don't want to go later I want to go NOW!!' when OH opens the door having come back to get the others, and hears her screaming at me, and so DD1 is told (by me) that screaming and shouting doesn't get her anywhere at all so she won't go now and if she wants to go later she'll drop it now... of course she has spent the last 15 minutes whining, moaning and shouting, apparently she doesn't like me and later isn't good enough  She'll have a shock, if she carries on at this rate the others will get 2 park trips and she'll have none
I've completely done the hallway this morning, cleaned the handrails etc and done the shoe rack and it looks much better.
We're selling the Jane buggy for bits as it has a problem with the frame, OH listed it this morning and we've already sold the hoodI thought at a push the wheels might go so to sell a bit I thought might not go within minutes of it going on is good.
Still got no heating on :j
Can't believe how big all the LO's are getting now :eek:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o

Good luck with DD1 Delain. A taster of what we've gotto come .....
Sorry Claire I got the Claires muddled when I replied! So make me insanely jealous - does your little one go down in her basket in the evening and stay asleep till morning??! Remind me, is P in her own room or with you still? How long did the crying go on for when you first started putting to bed for the night?
Aside from sleeping/colic/reflux my little boy is doing great! His development is good and now we have found the new prescription formular which he's taking his weight is doing well. He's 10.12. How is your little lady doing? Sounds like you're mastering motherhood very well! I'm impressed.0 -
hi all, hope everyone and babies are doing well. just a quick question, does anyone know where to get tops that i can sensibly breastfeed in. managed to get one form mamas and papas this morning reduced to £8 which is lovely but need a few more. and when ive been looking online etc they say feeding tops but theres no buttons to be able to make it easy.
samuels sleeping a lot better now, i think due to the milk coming in properly so is getting more than enough which means he isnt feeding as often and my nipples dont hurt as much yah me. lol although this does mean i certainly know when he should be due a feed as boobs start leaking , think i need to get another couple of feeding bras because i keep leaking. not so good lolnow proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j0 -
Hope your DD started to behave Delain!
Mirror - I either wear dresses/tops that have access at the top to just pull them down or just pull top up. You can always wear a vest top under tops and pull top up and vest top down if you get me then you aren't revealing as much. I think there is definately a niche in the market for clothes for feeding, is such a pain! Glad it's hurting less now, is nice when that stops!0 -
Hi everyone - been away for the weekend so not been on. We had our first night in a hotel last night and it went pretty well. We got back to the hotel at 10.30, fed L then for some reason he woke up at 11.30. Hubby cuddled him and he fell back asleep and then woke at 3.30 for a feed which he thankfully took without any messing and went back to sleep. He gruffled abit at 5.30 but as he wasn't really crying we ignored him and he went back to sleep until 7am.
Am worried tonight as we left Peterborough at 4 and got home at 7 and he slept almost the entire trip home. Gave him a bath not long after we got home and then fed him as he was starving. i expected him to want to stay awake for a bit then but he fell asleep so I put him to bed. Does this mean my morning tomorrow will start at about 4am???:o We will see. Going to dream feed as usual at around 10.30 and hopefully that will see him through a few hours at least. Think I'm going to get an early night myself in anticipation.
DL - sorry you're having such a nightmare. I'm not sure what to suggest but on the subject of baby massage we are starting a course this week. I'm looking forward to it.Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0 -

Claireloo - glad your night in the hotel went well. Hope you weren't up at 4 am!
My night wasn't too bad, she woke up twice which is good for her. Off to baby and toddler group in abit.0 -
It was OK (could have been better). Only woke once at 2.30am but was awake for 1.5 hours (as usual) and then was sick and then fell asleep till 6.30am which is early but not as early as it could have been.Leo James arrived 7 days late on 26th August 2011 by emergency CS :j Such a cheeky chappy now :T0

Often they have a double layered front and you lift the outer layer and the inner layer has slits either side for easy access.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
