Hi de Hi!
A good day today...
1) Came home with NO marking. :j
2) Phoned the student loans company about the letter that I had and it's official - they owe me money!! £533.82 to be precise. :j:j
3) Paid £200 to inlaws which means I've now paid over £1000 on debt this year. :j:j:j
In a good mood. Can you tell?
Hope all ok out there in the MSE world.
mum2one - What's your new OU course? xxx
thast brilliant news that they owe you the money, I'm starting B301Strategy in Business, - halfway through sports and fitness, I'm mad get there eventually.

Oops, realised I didn't update my diary yesterday.
I got home from school and went straight to the gym to do the body balance class (Yay, but ouch!). By the time I got home, showered, and did some marking then it was time for a quick read of everyone else's diaries and time for bed!
I'm quite pleased to have discovered balance on a Wednesday though as it really helps me to combat the mid week blues. Nice bit of me time to relax.
Today I have paid the monthly installment on my loan, updating this years total debt payments to £1,317.44.An overpayment so far this year of £153.56.
I'm not tutoring on Saturday as they've had a death in the family. I'm working at a wedding show on Sunday though to help my friend out, for which he'll give me £40 so that will be another overpayment if I can get into the bank next week. Mind you, be nice to have a free Sunday instead. Hmmm...the things we do. xxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. So jealous that you can do balance on a Wed - ours are Monday or Thurs but you have to book in a week in advance and do the class on a really grimy carpet. It's brill for destressing after work.
Although I can't listen to that broken strings song with Nelly Fertado because of teh track a few releases ago!!NSD -5/20

Ergh, grimy carpet! No need! I hate having to use the mats at the gym due to the smell of other peoples feet so grimy carpet too would be horrid. Ha!
This is the first release I've done in 18 months so no worries about songs yet.
Could do with destressing today though, have got parents evening and a lesson observation to plan for this weekend and can't switch my brain onto it.Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Friday! :j Friday!
Friday! :j
And that's about all I need to say!
Plan for this weekend:
Friday
- Sit on sofa and eat chocolate whilst watching rubbish TV.
Saturday
- Walk the dog in the park.
- Mark and level writing assessments.
- Get eyebrows (and top lip. shhhh...) threaded. Money well spent!
- Plan literacy for next week - including lesson ob.
Sunday
- Work wedding show 9-5.
- Start parents evening notes.
- Prepare resources for lesson ob.
For now, back to the chocolate. Purchased by OH! Naughty though...Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -

Well a lovely, but unproductive and very non MSE Saturday for me.
Walked Roxy this morning, got about 4 miles in which was lovely and always my favourite time of the week as I get in a good catch up with my friend. While I was out my OH took his car for a valet, spending £20!! Car looks better though...just for info, never buy a white car when you commute 20 miles to work and own a dog!!
Then we went into Solihull and I spent £10.50 on hair removal and £22 on makeup in boots. (Boots should have been £35 as it was 3 for 2 and I've not bought any make up in 18 months!!). And as we were on a roll we then went and sat in the Wetherspoons and had some lunch. £10.20 for burgers and beers. Went from there to the kennels to buy some dog food, another £12.50 (which will last her a month) and then home to fall asleep on the sofa in front of the rugby. *SIGH*.
Going out in about an hour and a half to celebrate parent in laws 40th wedding anniversary. And we're paying for half of their meal as part of the present to them.
Oh well, in for a penny, in for a pound! Ooops.
Don't know when I'm going to do my school work either as I'm working at the wedding show all day tomorrow.
Hope everyone having a better MSE day than me, even if I've had a nice day!! xxxWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
So pleased I'm not the only one who fell off the wagon today!! Think after not buying any makeup for 18 months you may be in need of a treatNSD -5/20
