It really is. :D Thank you. And thanks to everyone else for their well wishes too.

All seems a bit unreal now though so can't wait for things to start happening so it seems official.

Been a long and tiring day as got in school at 7am and left at 7.30pm following parents evening. My lesson observation got cancelled so getting up at 5 to finish my planning and preparation all seems a bit pointless but I was relieved in the end.

Have fallen off the MSE wagon and had chips, coke and chocolate for tea! Tut tut! But as I said, been a long day. :o

Not sure what else has gone on money wise but will get organised at the weekend when everything settles down. xx

    Hey all,

Well I seem to have slept away this weekend ... was starting to feel guilty but I guess I needed it.

We've had a weekend of big spending so not feeling too happy about that but then I guess these things always come at once. We went out Friday night and although I drove we still managed to spend £20, mind you nearly £6 was parking. Grrrr... Yesterday we went to see a house which made us realise how much still needs to be done on ours so went straight away to order new carpet for the stairs and landing and lino for the bathroom so that can be fitted in half term. Total spend - £310 including fitting. We had £250 in our emergency savings fund so most of it came from that but still... Then last night went to the cinema as our valentines weekend treat and it cost £20 for the 3D viewing. Eek! Glad we took our own sweets. And finally, today have been food shopping and managed to come in £4 over budget after buying vitamins and toiletries. Hmpf! Am i just being grumpy...?!? HA!

Todays miserable weather means I have no motivation so am still looking at a pile of literacy books that need marking. I also need to plan yet another lesson observation lesson as mine was cancelled last week. Watching the rugby to motivate me. :D

Anyway, hope everyone ok. Happy Sunday! ;)

Yep, first. :D And all parents knew it was on the cards so not sure how to take all the odd reactions! I'm sure they'll settle down.

Another day and even less motivation than normal . . .

Have walked the dog with OH, had a nap on the sofa, had my dinner and then just kid of sat here. :o

I've got school work to do (as usual!) including marking and a lesson obs to plan and am just not pushing myself at all. Haven't even check the online banking which is not like me!
