Many thanks for the welcomes - and welcome to my topsy-turvey world! I did start to have a read through some of the posts, to try to get the hang of this flying lark, but hopefully I will get better as I go along.
My 'organised' start to the morning immediately went to pot as I ignored one of my dogs behaving out of character - which meant the first thing I had to do was scrub down the stair carpet from the accident she had in her haste to get down them. Naughty Mrs B. My fear is that scrubbing parts of the carpet now is going to reveal the depths of the dirt on the rest later on today.
Emptied the WM and refilled. Completely filled the airer (but regrettably still have washed washing in the basket waiting for room), emptied the DW, decluttered a yoghurt from the fridge, going by taste rather than date ......... but decided on this occasion the date WAS an indictor, made my sandwiches (yes, I know, that was last night's job!), and have decluttered a piece of cake from the fridge for afternoon snack.
Welcome to my mad world.Work is not my Hobby0 -
Morning
Well beavers did not happen last night due to burst pipes so it was not the usual mad rush around which normally ensues on a Thurs.
We are continuing to make progress round here but to the casual eye you would not think so :rotfl: the main thing is we know it's progress!
Friday already, by eck these weeks go quickly it only feels like it was Monday yesterday

Most of yeaterday was spent organising/calming DD1 down about the mRI scan. It went OK, but we didn't get back until after 6pm. Unbeknown to me DD1 had texted OH from the taxi and he had gone to get fish and chips. Sadly, being a man he didn't realise that the fact I've been at Slimmimg World for 6 months and lost 2 stone would mean that I wouldn't want fish and chips!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
He bought me fish and chips - and - spinelessly I ate them.
Greenbee I can't find that recipe for green speed soup - can you post it please?
Off to get dressed and do something before work ( not enjoying it at all at the moment!):jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Morning all
was interrupted by DS this morning who came into my room to inform me 'someone's here' - as DD left she let the plumbers in without TELLING either of us!
And I was still in bed (waiting for them to go to school so I could have the bathroom).
So hastily threw clothes on and made them a cuppa while they finished off. Stripped the beds; had my breakfast, got towels out of washer, popped bedding in.
Goggled at the HEAVY SNOW
they've done.
Just going to have a shower then (I hope) I will post pictures.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

morning all,
have been out for blood test in the heavy snow!
Plumber here putting thermostats on all of our rads cos we just cant get the temp right. Sadly, he has caught his trousers on a kitchen cupboard doorknob, and pulled the door half off. Not impressed but it was an accident. Trouble is kitchen is 20 years old and getting creaky but I like it! Can't afford a new one anyway..... He said he will fix it....I hope so!
Flying will have to be random. No water for now, and HE is in MY kitchen. Oh well - spare room here I come ...............Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift

I'm sure one 'slip' after a stressful day won't cause that much damage.
Well done on appreciating that DD1 and OH were trying to be helpful and with everything that was going on didn't think about your diet.
Right - bed stripped, WM on, off to check list.0
