No jobs done on the list today, but I have spent this evening doing my tax return on-line. Phew, all done:A.
As we have no spare rooms I shall do today's list tomorrow.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Well done Valli on making a decision and putting things in their place when you felt you needed to rather than dragging things on. At least you've dipped your toe on THAT water again and it should give you the confidence to explore the ocean a little further.
Washing up from dinner done (home baked ham joint with oven crisped potato cubes, carrots, sprouts and a lovely dollop of mayonnaise). WM on. Chickens cooped up for the night. Kittens incarcerated in their space (second biggest room in the house actually!) for the night - they're too destructive to be left out on their own. I'm about to brush my teeth, wash my face and then fall into my bed with its lovely clean sheets and BB snoring at my feet.
Night allI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hugs to Boddy and Valli
I'm sitting here drinking my damson ginyummmmmmm Have just been ironing, and it's almost all gone (the ironing pile, not the gin) :T
Seem to have been pretty busy without actually accomplishing much from the lists. Lovely put-the-world-to-rights chat with sparkleworld - she says hello, but she's having tinternet problems at the moment, so can't get online much. Then home, to see the new windows in the bungalow - complete transformation
am very pleased - just have to pay the bill now!
This afternoon I've been in the garden, tidying, sorting etc. DH bought me a shed for my birthday (it's all mine!!) so I've been sorting out shelving, and planning what I want in there. It's right next to the greenhouse, so all my excess pots/trays etc are going in there, with the animal feed etc. Gives me lots more room in the greenhouse for growing things!! :rotfl::rotfl:
Then when it got dark I came in and started sorting out DD's cupboards so we can actually fit her Christmas things in there. She's agreed to get rid of the play kitchen :T:T:j. Anyone close-ish want it? Otherwise I think I'll freecycle it.
hugs and spoons to everyone that needs them - especially toots, Diva, LW and LL

well I have done it.
him walking into my house without knocking
him helping himself to fruit from my fruit bowl as he walked in without asking
Little 'niggles' on their own but they build up.
They don't sound like 'little niggles' to me, more like a lack of courtesy & that would really bother me.
Good luck with your decision & I hope a better 'cloud nine' arrives whenever you want one!0 -

Well done Valli on making a decision and putting things in their place when you felt you needed to rather than dragging things on. At least you've dipped your toe on THAT water again and it should give you the confidence to explore the ocean a little further.
She's glad he's history because his diction was so poor - he said 'ff' for 'th' - I KNEW she'd hate that - yet she never said a word, bless her!
Thanks Cally - they were actually a couple of a few things where I wondering if I was being over-sensitive about his behaviour...but then when he phoned to ask which door to use as they were locked on his last visit here - I mean WHAT'S WRONG WITH KNOCKING AND WAITING?
APART from anything else I was robbed when someone opened my unlocked back door and grabbed my handbag - now WHY on earth would I want a repeat of THAT? So I usually try to keep the door locked. But if I was expecting someone the door would be unlocked but I would be near it.
Please Flyfriends - no hugs/don't worry about me - I am totally happy wiith my decision and it's definitely a positive step.

After a good start i've been lurking for the last couple of weeks so thought I should say hello again.
Dd2 has got over her various illnesses so hoping to get back to normality when dh goes back to work next week.
We have decorated our bedroom - we've only been here 7 years and never liked the colour!
Ironing basket was empty for the new year just a shame it's full again.
Love and hugs to all.

Much love to all!!!0 -
Spent my evening after putting my DS, DD and DD to bed, sorting out boxes cluttering up my wardrobe. Lots of school work that has sat there for a couple of years, have put in a box for the loft. Took photographs of artwork they come home with, feel bad just chucking it away, I have kept a few special bits like finger , handprints. DH says that I just churn things.... Well there is three carrier bags for the bin and 2 boxes for the loft. I have now just finished 1 and a half hours ironing. I have done abit of dot to dotting on my LR ....needs more work."Sealed Pot Challenge" member 1122SW - lost 2.5 stones0
