Boddy hugs sweetie. Glad you have spoken to both of them and cleared the air, so much better than stewing.

Booked online shop to get 25% off next week and saves me shopping for much tomorrow. Really need to do a meal plan and a meat order too.

Off to bath DS3 next and I think another early night for me.

Lamewolf - sorry about the bad dreams - I hope you have a better night tonight.

Well done on the hoovering the PC valli!

Dusty - how did you repatriate the mouse?

Boddy - huge hugs. Grief takes a long time to get over and can affect you in many unusual ways. But it does get easier. Honest
Anyone have any thoughts on keeping old diaries?

I have oodles of mine kept in a box plus my late father's :o

Re weddings: I organised my DS and Dil's in 7 weeks. They had booked a cupboard at the registry office. Us parents weren't having that so we reorganised. It just takes detailed planning and focussing. It was all done and dusted in that 7 weeks. Lovely romantic hotel wedding with a sit down lunch for 35 people followed by an evening disco at the same venue for 100, with buffet.

I actually has two hours of work to do today! And it was vaguely taxing on the old gray cells. Hurrah!

Since I've got home, I've taken down the christmas tree and put the decs all away and then deep-Dysoned the living room. Am just about to phone best friend up the road to see'f she wants the tree for her fire before I put it out for the recycling binmen.
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

My SIL managed it :) the church they wanted only had one slot in the year they wanted, so they had a date 6 months earlier than they originally planned. And my brother was away in Brazil when she committed to the date too :) but we didn't think he'd mind... I can get hold of her spreadsheets for you if you want...

Yes please to the spreadsheet, I love lists and it will calm me!
ajmoney - we got engaged on a Good Friday (mid April) and married the end of that September, so 4 1/2 months. It was oodles of time, no I wasn't expecting just the thought of planning a wedding and my Mother's involvement for 18 months was more stress than I could handle. That was full church, sit down for about 100 plus evening disco, cars, cake, dress, flowers the lot.

Just doing the last of the cards and that will be christmas done.

I love the support on here, thanks Dusty x

And a huge thanks to seafarers_wife for the PM, you are a star, I have sent one back x
